This is what this club is ALL about. We will be improving the collie breed 1 step at a time! I dont have many ideas for the club YET but If you have ANY ideas just post here or message me at Collie_lover17- Sierra Crest kennels<br><br>The collie breed is going down in stats.

Hey, I love the idea of having a Collie Club (being a breeder of Smooth Collies here on VP). Back when I first got my Prestige Kennel I had a Border Collie and Collie Club. There was lots of interest in it, and a good portion of the member were Collies. I think if you were willing to put a lot of time and effort into the club, a Collie Club would be very successful. I would recommend keeping the club to just one breed though. Things got very confusing and messed up when I tried to combine Collies and Border Collies in one club. I think that keeping it just to Rough and Smooth Collies would be your best bet. Let me know if you decide to create the club and I will be sure to apply some of my Smooths!

A collie club would be great! I breed Rough Collies, and I got them up to 8x4 so far.

okay thanks I think I am going to do it & keep it just collies. & great stephanie I am up to 5x4s. (just got back into collies) But if either of you are willing to offer some services it would be most appreciated

Love the idea, but don't border collies already have exceptionaly high stars? How do you plan to improve upon that breed?

Border Collies are not the same breed as Collies. They way I understood it, MaJik was just talking about a club for Collies (Rough and Smooth), right?
