I've had her for about 5 months. Now i know the basics of potty training, but her aggresion is to the extreme. thank god shes little and can't do harm,

but im really worried about someone complaining and i'll end up with some huge problems...

basically if you have any addvice or experience with aggro. dogs. please share.

my brothers friends come over and its just insane. I've told them to be patient and i've had them give her some treats. It helps, until they leave and come back.

-_- I'll admit, i have NO expereice with small breeds. Not sure of theres a trick to it.

 • There could be many reasons why it is aggresive, she could have been abused when she was younger (I don't know how many owners it has had?)
or she could be insecure and the only way she can feel sucure is by being aggresive, dogs know when you are afraid so if you are calm and act like a leader then she will most likely change her attitude.
Another good way to teach her to behave is to pull treats out when you have friends/men/etc. over, it will keep her attention on you and praise her every time she does not lash out at someone, if she does take her to a back room and calm her down then walk her back out, and repeat until she is cured.
Remeber you have to start out small and dogs think in packs, so you have to be a "pack" leader.
Hope that helps.

 • Have them start to give her treats and feed her. That's one thing I heard was supposed to be good for helping that.

Also, just because she's small doesn't mean she can't do damage. xD
My dog is food aggresive and has acctually left some scars, and she's a poodle. XD
And also making weird noises when they get ready to "attack" makes them focus thier attention to the noise.
And another thing, don't have your friends give the dog treats, that could be confusing her.
:3

 • Er, I was told that having the male friends give her bits of chicken and stuff when she doesn't attack them will show that they control food, thus, they are not the enemy.

 • That's true. But, if she's barking and growling at them when they first walk in and they give her a treat it would be praising her to be aggresive.

 • That's why THEY do it when she DOESN'T attack them. xD

 • Try having someone come over. As soon as she starts growling or shows any sign of being aggresive take her into another room. Once she calms down take her out again. When she's calm have the visitors give her treats. If she becomes aggresive again take her out again and keep doing it. Eventually she should realize that being aggresive gets her no where.
