I have a few suggestions (that may or may not have been suggested before, but I haven't seen them recently) for showing dogs.<br><br><br>Perhaps, to make the game more realistic and reward dedicated showers, once a dog reaches certain milestones in its showing career it could receive a specific title? (Much like real showdogs, having abbreviations such as "Ch" before their show titles.) <br><br>Also, although I don't know how complicated the coding would be, I would love to see hereditary showing abilities, such as if a parent has done really well in a certain kind of event, the offspring would too. This also rewards avid showers as they can honestly charge more for stud/brood services to their show champions. <br><br>These are just opinions, so feel free to agree or disagree. ;)

    Eh, a little. I just recently (in the last week) started playing again, but I seem to cycle in and out of VP. Dunno how long I'll stay interested. But, I think I'm mostly going to avoid the forums, as it tends to eat away my time like no other...:P

    <br><br><br>Yes, but what I'm suggesting is a title that goes somewhere in the dog's name, (ex: Ch. Dooby's Saturday Night Fever)<br><br>I do like the fact that there is some recognition, I just feel like it's very little for so much work.

    it would take a lot of time to code that and personally from what i know about codeing (if it takes codeing, i would imagine that it does but if it doesnt there is still the next part) it is next to impossible because the ops/nef would have to go through the dogs and change all of their names, which is really not worth it seeing as there is already the title system Aziu mentioned.

    You sure femalevamp14? Do all the admins have to go through all the dogs and make them Regional once their score reaches 1000? No.. So if they reach Regional they would be Ch, National - Gr. Ch., International - Int. Gr. Ch. .. and so on.<br><br>I really think it's a cool idea. I suggested this about 2 years ago I think but it was shot down because not everyone who plays this game knows about titling and that stuff (interestingly enough), so it would apparently make the game harder. <br><br>This game is a little elementary because we have to accommodate to the young ones who are on here at like 6 years of age. There are other sites with a more mature feel to them... but they aren't as fun or "unrealistic."

    Well, even if the code to add titles to dog's names was added, people could just name their dogs with the titles in the first place. Of course those dogs wouldn't necessarily have the show records to go along with it, but you can see how it could become obsolete very quickly.<br><br>I don't think it's a necessary addition.

    the show thing we currently have is coded as i mentioned, and names are always changed by ops or nef, therefore either detailed coding and/or ops/nef to change them all and keep up with it. also i completly agree with aziu.. no rudeness intended, although you should make sure you read someones complete post before you ask me something in an..'unfriendly' (lack of a better word) fashion when i already mentioned it.
