Champ - [Probably 1/2 Husky, Other Breed? Suggestions?]

Champ is my beloved golden-colored Siberian Husky. [Probably with a mix, can you help suggest what you think it could be?] Champ had been an abandonned pup that was found practically frozen during a snowstorm in December five years ago. He was around eight weeks old when an elderly woman discovered him. As she had just adopted three dogs, she gave him to a watchdog commitee. We bought Champ afterwards, and have owned him ever since. He has proven to be an intelligent boy. I've taught him these tricks, which he performs with ease: -Sit -Down -Paw -Come -Stay -Off -HighFive -Roll-Over -Rub-a-Belly -Count em' Out (like in wrestling) -Say Hi -Jump -Under (goes through or under things) -Over [self-explanitory] -Howl Champ is very protective, and a devine watchdog. We're pretty sure he's full/half Husky, or with very little other breed.

Whoa, tons of replies! ^_^ Thanks, guys. His body shape, size and personality is that of a husky. We do tend to see a strong protectiveness, maybe shepherd? The coloring could possibly be shepherd or retriever, but the white marks on his paws, chest, nose dot and tail tip are husky traits. For the longest time I thought he was a dingo

Like I said, I thought he was a dingo for the longest time

Until the vet said he was probably some kind of husky. He does look like a dingo, but his snout is longer and tail is curled.

OMG! I was helping out at the nearby shelter, our friends took in a foster named champ, one blue eye, puppy, white-ish/gold-ish, half-husky, probably lab too, cute as can be. He was adorable. Before he got into bushes&had ticks all over him. DX He sounds exactly like the description of your dog. He was adopted. and i thought maybe you adopted him when i saw the topic! :P

He looks a lot like my Dad's dog, Chance. They're not sure what he's mixed with either but they're guessing maybe Collie x German Shepherd x Pit Bull or something. Wow, Chance and Champ look so alike! Different fur, though. Shepherd is a big guess, and we're sure about the husky. Possibly Golden Retriever or Labrador.
