horses... oooh my life.. lemme see.. im putting these in the order we got them...

Blaze. He is a saddledbred mix we THINK. Im not completely sure but he has a smooth gait. He is a gentlemen when he wants to be and was dubbed the nicknames "Silly Goose" and "Houdini" for his awesome goofiness and his skillz as an escape artist. Sadly i cant ride Blazey in a saddle anymore cuz he has health issues and my dad is too cheap to get him checked. And also sadly i cant afford it on my own.

Shelby. Shelby is a paint/Arab mare. Shelby is definitally the alpha in our herd. We got her at an auction. Her owner got in a car wreck and couldint ride anymore and my brother bought her. But dont be fooled. After she had Her child she went wild. She needs work and my brother is gonna work with her when he moves back to this town from the coast guard in a couple of months. She rolls and rears when being ridden. Im not allowed to touch her.

Saharah. Saharah is a quarab. Quarter horse and arab but she has paint bloodlines so she might be able to have a paint foal if ever bred. Saharah was born here and she is Shelby's filly. She is VERY sweet. Ive worked with her since the day she was born and i can pick up her feet and hang all over her and she's just completely calm. Im the only person she hasnt attacked... she was a bit playful as a baby lol. She is almost 3 and very tiny for some reason. When my brother moves back down were gonna break her together.

Miss Dual Comanche aka Tawny. Her grandsire is Dual Pep and she is a GREAT little riding horse. She is the horse i ride. She is a barrel/pole horse in training. My neice and nephew 2 and 4 can handle her on their own and she is as sweet as pie. Im actually getting ready to ride her now. She has a great gas petal and a great stop too. She slide stops. She LOVES cows too. She's a great playday/lesson horse. We'll get some pics and maybe a link to a video when i get more >.<

Also Im getting a QH mare soon to barrel race/pole bend on since Tawny is my brothers. My friend Moon is actually going to get a horse and MIGHT keep it at my house then ill FINALLY have a riding buddy lol ~My horses~

Krystal is registered with APHA. and Zippy could be but I havent gotten to it.

Bucknuts and Diablo are my only Non-paint horses. But I love True bays and Buckskins also.

Wheaty:
Sunny was very pretty
You can tell in the pictures that she was getting old.
I also have a soft spot towards white horses. xD

I'm sure Gina was just as pretty.

Her mom was a red roan mare in a world championship barrel racing competition and her Grandsire on her dads side is Dual Pep.. a double registered paint/qh and one of the best cowhorses of all time from Peppy San Badger. She's a lovely little girl and was practically free.. my brother worked for her.. and the work only added up to about 600 bucks.. then he was offered 7,000 for her and turned it down
I've got two American Quarter Horse Geldings.

Poco (pronounced Poe-Koe) is a registered AQH. He had done barrel races with my aunt when he was younger (late 80's-early 90's.) And is an all-around excellent behaved horse.

In this picture, I am 2 yrs. old, and Poco is 7 yrs. He is "ground-tied" in this pic.

Here's a more "muscular" picture of him. Here he is once again... Ground tied. This was taken in March, just 6 months shy of his 24th b-day.

This is Poco and Jack (25 yrs. old, Jack is also registered and has done jumping when he was younger [80's & 90's]). (Jack-left and Poco-right)They were coming up to the barn to get groomed and saddled up for some trail riding in this pic.

I'll post more pics later.

Both Poco and Jack are -the- most well-behaved horses I've ever been around. And still at 24 and 25 yrs. old, they LOVE to be ridden, and pretty much ran into the ground. Jack still loves to jump... although we try to allow him not to, as he's starting to get arthritis. But this still doesnt slow him down none.
Even in their old age... They still get freaked out by things they've never seen... Such as Donkeys. lol. Who are SO much tinier than they are.

Looks really lean, Not exactly my type of Horse.

help_pony: Aww! I just LOVE Fjords.

Okanagan Gurl: Again.. Not my type of Horse. Got the coloring right, However the body type. Not my style. Cute though.

dogtrainer101: I have owned Vegas for a long long time. If you saw him before, it was probably when I was with him at a show.
personally, I love the lean horses. I usually ride the thoroughbreds, arabs, and paints

Paints aren't usually lean..

I go for more the Quarter Horse, Drafts, More Built Horses.
Better For Western Pleasure and other Western events.
well it wasn't that bad I wasn't very attached to her but it was still rude of them to do that and stuff. We never even got the money back from the 3 months we had her and 1 of those months was for like 3 days. We can't get our moey now as they are gone they have pretty much disappeared their horses are all for sale and one of the houses they had has been foreclosed on. No one knows were they are.
Poco and Jack are pretty spoiled boys. They get candycanes whenever they get ridden (after they are ridden, and well-groomed... NOT before.) It's their "reward" for riding good, and being good while getting groomed and all that jazz. With as-much grass they eat in the summer though, Poco usually stays pretty fat. And by fat... I mean fat. lol. To actually be able to ride him, my short legs are sticking straight out from the stirrups. And galloping with him is pretty... whew. But he has a gorgeous lope. And Jack... I LOVE galloping with Jack. He's got a nice, smooth gallop, as-well as lope. Plus, he's "skinner" than Poco, so I can wrap my legs around him while I'm in the stirrups to hold myself in place if his galloping gets too rough.

This is a picture of my younger sister and Jack. Jack looks like a pony in all his pics.

Here's fat ol' Poco. This year, he had "Spring Fever", and kept taking off with JoLee. It was hilarious to watch, cause she'd just drop the reigns and hang onto the saddle horn with dear life. Cant believe he didnt jump the fence either. But he stopped. What a sight. Poco was bred in Oklahoma, so he's got a longer coat then Jack, as Jack was bred in Virginia. But I LOVE when Poco has his long hair coat, cause he just looks so stunning in it... Well the longer hair that's around his legs, and more near his hooves that is.

Here you can see some of his longer hair around his hooves. He looks like a giant with that "tiny" saddle on him...
