  I like it, especially the hat and ruffle thing.<br>The face overall is very nice :]<br><br>The shading is a little iffy, I think. <br>I don't know, I've never shaded or anything, but I just feel like it could be blended a little more? Or something, I'm not sure...

  i think the coloring for a first timer, is pretty good.<br><br>although the blending could be don't a little better, just mix the light Grey with the dark Grey. Or, put colors in between the Greys to blend them in.

  You need to do a bit of cleaning up because you have some white areas around the lines, and even some out side the lines around the dog. Use a bit different shading/highlighting techniques. I think I've got a tutorial on my deviant art, but it is for the GIMP program.
