Braces/Spacers?

<span style="font-size:134">I'm getting spacers tomorrow.. -woot kind of-<br>the 30th, im getting braces... im kinda nervous about it, but im dang excited about straight teeth.!.<br>If you have any tips... thatd be much appreciated... <br>i know that i need to take Tylenol and not eat hard foods for spacers, <br>but any -no- pain tips would be a -maaaaaaazing- :D</span>

    <span style="font-size:92">There aren't any <span style="font-style:italic">no</span> pain tips. Ibuprofen (or Aleve) are probably your best bets. To be honest, it's gonna hurt no matter what, but it's not unbearable. ;p I had braces for 4 years and jaw surgery, but it was well worth it. ^_^</span>

    I have braces!! They arent really that bad they just hurt for a coupleof days then go away. At times I somewhat like them when they like match my clothes or are the colors of my favorite sports team. I have had much worse things in my mouth lol. :o

    <span style="font-size:75">I had braces.. a year or so ago. =] Had them for a few years. The only time they really bugged me was when they got tightened. And I got sores in my mouth, but I got those anyway, since I chew them when I sleep. xD Braces just irritated them. Braces/spacers aren't that bad. Just give you some head aches every now and then.</span>

    i got spacers once, and i ate whatever i wanted.<br>they didnt fall out....<br>but oh well.<br><br>and with braces you MUST brush every day. or else their is a bunch of crazy stuff going on in your mouth. i know this girl who always has a crazy thing going on and it looks really wierd.<br><br>also be sure to have plenty of wax just in case something pops out and your mom cant take you to the dentist/orthodontist. its happened to me.

    -hehe- i got them today and they're -killing- me! ouch ouch! they are pretty bad, but not as bad as i thought theyd be... i just hope they dont mess up my smile for picture day... o.O hehe... i've been sucking on ice, and it feels amaaaaaazing...!

    i got mah braces on... D:... they hurt so dang bad! like, i put wax on for volleyball practice, and they are killing meeeeeeeeeeeee!<br>does anyone have any soothing remedies for me? lol

    I currently have braces.<br><br>For the first -week- I couldn't eat solid food without getting a really bad pain. They said it'd only be three days (never trust the dentist :|) while it hurt. Suuuure. Lol.<br><br>But, now that I've had them for somewhere around five months, I think, they don't bother me at all! Even when I get them tightened, I don't feel it anymore ;)<br><br>It'll only last a little while. Honestly, I thought I was going to be in agonizing pain, but I wasn't, thank goodness!

    i have braces right now, and for another 3 months... uggg. yes, they are painful, but here's a non painful tip... have toothpicks handy after you eat, because food gets stuck in them really easily and it's gross :P :lol:
