Fundraiser for Local Pound... Ideas?

I'm going to make a bunch of money (out my labor alone or not) for the pound because I've been helping out there for free and feel the need to donate because I'm... so nice... lol. I love animals!<br><br>Recently, they had to put down this AMAZING Rottie named Max who had a shattered bone or something in his right leg. They couldn't afford his surgery (it was like, $1500) and if they left him like that to be adopted, his left leg would become like that also since he'd be putting so much pressure on it.<br><br>The woman that had to do it cried... and I think I did, too. (I say I -think- because I'm too cool to admit, lol... just kidding).<br><br>Recently, I've been a little sad and boredom (besides school) has been keeping me company... :roll: And I wanted something spectacular to get my mind off of this guy who've I had mixed emotions about... I know there are others who feel the same... Anyhow, I need IDEAS. I don't care if they're ideas that'll I need a partner(s) for, I do have three to four animal-loving buddehs that would LOVE to help.<br><br>- NOTHING that will envolve more than six people to accomplish.<br>- Nothing too hard, I'm only thirteen---I don't have much power here!<br>- Any suggestions that abide to those rules I will consider!!! :)<br><br>I WILL have to do this fundraiser on my own time, out of my own labor, so make them a tad fun... :wink:<br><br>Thanks, and please comment on anything!

    how about making something taht you can sell?<br>Or having a guitar hero/DDR playing thingy where you charge $1 per play. lol

    <br><br>I SERIOUSLY WOULD! Lol.<br>But I have no gutair hero... only a wii with a couple simpel wii games ;)<br><br>Lol. I'm willing to go extreme lengths for this.<br>I hate being in the spotlight, but I'd hate for this idea to go down the drain so I'm going FAR!

    I nearly had to try and raise $5000 in 5th grade, so I have a pretty good list of things to do with a group of a fe people. <br><br>-car wash (possibly dog wash, just need to be careful there)<br><br>-make simple jewlery and sell telling it goes towards your pound<br><br>-ask a Wallmart (or other large store) if you can set a fundraising booth outside their store (Like, a table where you have a jar for donations to the pound)<br><br>-talent show (small fee to watch)<br><br>-baby sit<br><br>-sell things you make (Like, I am able to make fairly fancy candles as I have the materials and machine) you can make large amounts of money while investing very little <br><br>-talk to the pound to set up a walk for the animals (where you go around and have people sign that they will pay x dollars per mile you walk)<br><br>I have a few more if you want, those are the easy ones :wink:

    ENTRY Sept. 19th, 08:<br><br>Made my special banner... it makes me weep uncontrollably occasionably.<br>It's good to cry, so I'm not too worried about it, Lol ;]<br><br>Anyhow, I also added a sentence below it.<br>I'm strongly making a commitment to myself; I told myself I will never buy a dog off a breeder [responsible or not] because I am going to adopt my dream pooch from the pound.<br><br>Because you don't need a specific breed, a pound-pup has the specific heart you're looking for :]<br><br>Makes me cry everytime I recite that... :*[<br><br>LUDIE is OUT -- Camping & Raising money for the poundeh!
