it looks great, i like the draw effect to the lines, the only thing i'd change is keeping the outline color either soft, or make it a color that fit with the inside color of the dog

for the black and red dog it looks good with black lines, for the white and brown, i'd have used dark brown lines (almost black but not quite) to thus underline the brown markings

:O :O:O

I lurves it!
I don't really see anything for you to correct except that the front left paw is slightly larger than the rest but I never really care bout that stuff xP
yeah keep the lines dark, almost black, but sligthly shaded to a color that are used in the coloration, this will seem more smooth, and it will highlight that color, instead of standing out as a break from the rest

like with the pink dog you could used a dark dark purple, it would have brougth out the pink better then an all black...not meaning to lighten the lines more, just bring dem down one or two notches from the black in direction of a color fiting with the main colors of the drawing

you can see how you can keep the lines "black" but smoothen them only by using a dark shade of almost black really *s*
Hehe I know what you mean.
But I hate coloring lines any color except black.. because if you have a multi colored dog it looks sloppy.
You have to have multi colored lines.
the other doable thing is fuzzing them down, either through adjusting the optimacy, or through bluring

i just figured colored dark almost but not quite black lines would work best for your drawing style *s*

for the black and red dog the black lines work, but for the others it seems like a color in book, whereas adjusting the color would compliment them more and underline the color choise of the fur *s*

anyhow its all about preferences and the eye that sees, some people like oranges others apples
Haha
I really never thought id be able to draw off shapes either..
It eays though.
You just start with the basic shapes(You have to look at skeletons of dogs when starting off too) You have to know where the hips/ chest and all the joints in the legs and such would go.
Then you start off with the basic shapes.. then add some details. then go more into details with a smaller brush
Ill write it out way more into detail some other time
xD
Anwyays

i colored that dog
