I am glad she is done writing for now.
I think because of the high demand she rushed this book.
{So quit rushing people!}
So I pray to god she gets herself together in the next read.
Or I won't be wasting my money.
I can post on here now! Yay! I am so glad I didn't spoil it for myself.

I am a little dissappointed in this book. It wasn't very good..It seemed like the book rushed through. I only found the first 2 parts interesting and the middle of the third. The last part was so dull and I ended up scanning through the pages and not reading every word.

Oh and her kids name is ridiculous. I don't get why she (stephanie) had Bella dreaming of a baby boy and not a girl. I wish that wasn't added or that she explained it.

I just find this book fits the ratings that it was given. The first 3 books were defanitely better. Even though that one had the part with Edward gone. I was getting sick of Bella hugging herself. I wanted to slap her and scream, "You don't need a man, vampire, person damnit!"
well, she did write 4 books in like.. what 5, 4 years? thats almost a book a year. I'd be exhausted, too
Yeah...
I am
a) not creative enough to be a writer
b) I cant keep my mind on something.

So, yeah, I GUESS it could get boring...
Pah, I could probably be a writer.... if I wasn't too lazy to write things down x.X I hate writing.
Yah, Stephanie failed in my opinion.
And people need to lay off her when it comes to writing books.
Unless you want another that is only a quarter as good as the rest.
But that's my opinion

I am going to leave her alone for now.
She needs some breaks to re-boot her muse.
Well, great! I've been waiting and waiting and I finally came on here and spoiled the end of the book. Why do I do it to myself? Oh well... I'll get there eventually.

I'm still in the middle.. page 400 something. Bella just got back from her first hunt.

So far, I think it's pretty good. I like the baby's name. Nessie, I do not care for though.

I was watching a news interview with Meyer the other day and she said this would probably be the last but she may do more. Then, Twilight in Edward's POV is being published.

It's weird, I don't want this series to be like Harry Potter and have so many books. But, I just don't want this saga to end!
Whee! Finished this last night! I'm so proud of myself for not spoiling it for myself. =D

I love the Rosalie/Jacob arguments. I like the dog bowl thing.. lirl. I was laughing so hard at that.. And the pool thing. Pretty sad, as I've been told all these before.. Well, not all of them. xD I laughed at a fellow blonde's expense. *sighs* Ah well. Good thing she's not real or she'd kick my bottom.

Overall, I was kind of disappointed with the book. Bella being able to withstand human blood so soon? It annoyed me. I mean, if they want her to have self control, fine. But why so.. perfect? I didn't think there was enough of the tension that previous books led you to believe there would be. And tension keeps people reading, that and there wasn't much in the climax. Normally I'm jumping up and down, wishing my brain would process quicker.. This time? Nothin'. Which is probably why she didn't get great reviews.

Now, the whole blood thing, though I dont have a weak stomach, made me a tad bit sick I was kindof iffy about the acceptance of the blood, also..

Well, I don't mean it should be horrific telling every single detail, of course. Authors want their books to appeal to as many people as possible. So therefore, she needed to find a balance. One that's not too much like picking daises or something, and one that's not all blood and gore. xD I think she did fairly decent on some parts with finding the balance, Of course, besides balance, an author's taste also needs to come in to play for originality. =3

I just meant that there was none of the newborn stuff we thought we'd have. She threw us a curve ball, which in a gamble, basically. And it can make you or break you. I don't think it made her this time. While some may appreciate the lack of blood(minus the birthing incident. =3) whether because of taste or weak stomachs(I don't mean to sound rude, if this does sound like that), I don't think they can pretend that near complete control, whether she knew about the newborn time or not, was a smart move. We need friction to grasp the book and she kept us sliding.
I didn't read all the posts so if this has already been said...sorry.

The cover means Bella going from being one of the weakest players on the board to the strongest.

I heard that from Stephenie somewhere in a Q and A...
Baha I finally finished it at like 3 am this morning XD

I'm extremely disappointed. It kind of seemed like (even though there are 754 pages, and if had been any longer I would have liked to rip all my hair out and burn the book) that she rushed everything a bit.

Honestly, I don't think Renesmee should exist at all. That just kinda irked me that Bella got pregnant, and even worse that it was a girl. Her dream depicted a boy.

Another thing, it was oh too perfect when Jacob imprinted on Renesmee. That just made everything easier on him and Bella with the whole 'Idk what to do about the way I feel' thing between them.

Bella just completely skipped over the newborn stage of being a vampire. That REALLY pissed me off. I know she'd known what to expect and all blah blah whatever, but it just really makes me mad that NOTHING went wrong. In my opinion, she should've killed Jacob when she lunged at him and Seth got in the way OR she should've killed Charlie, just to add an interesting twist to the story.

How Alice leaves and you think she's gone for good, I think that was probably the best twist of the whole book. But the fact that she comes back with Nahuel, and that he has sisters just like Renesmee, made me mad. It made things too easy to get rid of the Volturi.

In the end with the Volturi, they just appear one day. It's like it was a week ago, then BAM it's time for them to arrive. The fact that there was no fight or anything made me extremely mad. They just kind of gave up and ran off with their tail between their legs, it made no sense. There should've been more to it than that.

I guess what I'm getting at is that the perfect fairy tale-ness of the novel disappointed me. Everything worked out great and nothing bad happened. I didn't like it at all. Maybe it's just me.

I guess she was just trying to end the series? I don't know, but it makes me mad.

'And then we continued blissfully into this small but perfect piece of our forever.' -blech- Too perfect.

oh I swear to ya, I'll be there for ya.

Lol. Congrats on finishing.

Yes, exactly, I also felt everything was rushed and too perfect.

And I was hoping for a big fight between the clans and the Volturi. Cause I mean, Stephanie gave Bella this amazing strength, beyond Emmett's, yet she never really used it. (Except for that whole arm wrestling thing)

Surely, someone, besides Irina, should have died or something in the book. Cause when I finished the book, I was like "um ... no" XD
I hadn't even thought of it that way, but I agree. Grr.

That was the first thing I said to Erin (Crazy4Horses) when I finished reading it. She disagreed and thought it was amazing -___-

Now, I believe that she shouldn't have handled the birthing, and the blood so well. If she had killed those hikers and attacked Edward (*hides*), THAT would have been an intresting twist.

I've only got about 200 pages left and it's really killing me to read them. The book is just so long I'm getting bored with it. I said that I wanted to finish it before school started, but that's tomorrow. So, unless I read all day today, that's not going to happen.

Anyhow, I found it really odd that Charlie too knowing so easily. And Bella's self control whatever was stupid. I agree, there needed to be a lot more action.
im really mad, but not at hte book. I could like *die*. Iwant stephanie to keep writing and when she is 'bout to die of old age, emment needs to come make her a vampire so she can keep writing 4 eva

Okay, I didn't really mind at all when Jake imprinted on Nessie, but I did find Renesmee a pretty off name. And a little corny. As was Carlie. I was like >.>

I knew that Alice would come back in the end though, because you don't usually make a character like her just to leave in the end. There would have to be something pretty suspicious about them for that to happen. And Alice is pretty open and chirpy about everything so...

And IMO New Moon was the worst. This was up there with the best.

Overall the book was very good and summed things up nicely, though I would have liked for there to have been a battle and a few people die, and the Volturi is brought down to have someone better be put in their place. Everyone survived, and it was kind of like... She was being too careful or something. Yeah, I suppose she would have gotten angry letters if Alice died, but it would have added something to the book (not necessarily Alice, but just --someone. *Don't screech at me*

I agree about New Moon being the worst of the 4. I nearly stopped reading that one as soon as Edward Left, but i thought Breaking Dawn was probably the 2nd best because i have always thought the original was the best of all of them.

I think that the effect of actually having a fight with the Volturi would have made the book last longer and also had a better effect on a later movie, but i would have also been upset if any of them had died in the process.

I can see where Bella doesn't like Nessie because I wouldn't want my daughter associated with a monster either, especially if i was in Bella's situation of protecting their identity as vampires..
I am almost finished reading Breaking Dawn (I was a late bloomer) and I must say, so far I'm fairly dissapointed. It certainly doesn't live upto the other books. A bit of a let down so far. :?
