Meet Samantha...<br><img src="http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj182/muddypaws907/llama065.jpg"; alt="http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj182/muddypaws907/llama065.jpg"; class="bb-image" /><br><img src="http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj182/muddypaws907/llama070.jpg"; alt="http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj182/muddypaws907/llama070.jpg"; class="bb-image" /><br><br>She's the newest addition to our family.<br>She is a 3lb. Jet-Black w/ Red Highlights (on her feet) Netherland Dwarf Rabbit.<br>Vet told us she is about 3 yrs. old. She loves to play in her puppy pen (for outdoors). And I guess for the first 2 yrs. of her life she was a house rabbit. After being taken to a shelter she was moved out to a barn in the winter up until we had adopted her earlier today. A little girl that had gotten her for 4-H, had developed an OCD against germs, and didnt want to touch or handle Samantha. This is the reason why she was taken to a shelter down here. Her name before we got her was "Bunny" (this was the name that the little girl had named her), and being in foster-care, and not handled much the first 2 or so yrs. of her life, she had gained weight, and was nicknamed "fatty" by the foster lady.<br>But I'm glad we came across this gorgeous girl.<br><br>She is now being settled into the home, and will start litter-training probably this weekend. We will also train her with a clicker when she gets more settled in, and the cats start to like her more. (all the dogs dont mind her, and leave her alone, but the two cats that were ferril as kittens shouldnt really be around her :( )<br><br>She looks just like my Polish Dwarf Rabbit Male that I had over 4 yrs. ago, but is MUCH calmer, passive, and doesnt "spray" everywhere.

    I just have to comment I loved that you named your Bunny Samantha I think thats the cutest name for a bunny lol. she is extremly cute

    Dreamlynn is an awesome/unique name... That might be used on a later pet... But it just didnt fit for her. She is starting to come out of her shell though. She wasnt handled much before she went into fostercare. And I made a BIG mistake last night when I was holding her. She was licking my arm... So I thought "oh, I'll just let her lick my finger". So I stuck my middle finger on my right-hand RIGHT near her mouth so it was touching it, and in a split second she had bit me. SO dont put your finger RIGHT in her mouth... And she wont bite you :lol: . I didnt know the extent of it however until after I went upstairs and had put her away... However, I could feel the blood going down my arm. But it wasnt that bad. Just at first it was.<br>Kinda like when I was making nachos and went to open a can of beans. I usually just leave enough of the can lid on so I can twist it off. But for some reason I wasnt thinking and had used my right-hand to grab the lid with my index and thumb fingers, and slid my fingers RIGHT up the can lid, slicing open my thumb. SO there's a big scar on it now. Didnt get stitches though, even though I should've. And it took a long time to heal, cause everytime it would start to close up, it would get split open again.<br>As you can tell... Nelly's got NO common sense.

    Today when she was out in her pen, we noticed that she had an ear Tattoo (the light shown through her ear). Which means she's able to be shown. Not sure if you need papers or anything to enter Fair Contests or not... But idk. And we'd have to do it the next Fair, cause this years' starts on Monday.
