I know this probably sounds ridiculouse (sp?) but I think the training should go back to the way it was before. I know this new way is a lot faster but because of that everyone has opened up training to public who normally wouldn't. because of all the competition people are going to continue to lower and lower thier prices until training pretty much won't earn you anything. before it was a pain to train and only a few would do it because it was such a pain so they earned decent money, but now... there are 8 sponser training open posts on the board when normally there would only be like 1! I just think it is going to lower the value of trainings and make it more difficult to buy and afford dogs. simply my oppinion, i understand if you disagree I just thought it was an idea

I see your point. This game definately needs more elements to be competitive. I said this before "more use for the playcash". Yet, not everyone is going to fork up 25 bucks for a sponsor either. So the rise in price along with the upgrade balances it out quite well in my opinion.

Personally, I love the new training system. The speed training methods for the old system wouldn't work on my browser. It took over an hour for me just to do a 200/280 on a 8x4+ dog. I used more playcash on getting dogs trained than I did on anything else. Now I can actually train my own dogs in a -decent- amount of time. Its the best thing that's happened on VP in a very long time, in my opinion. If the training prices go down, more novices (and poor sponsors) will be able to afford training as well. I think that'd be a good thing.

Well, I'm so so with the new one. It would be awesome if we got to choose whether we want the old one or the new one. Just like iGoogle or something like that. With a push of a button, you would be able to choose which training page you'd want to go into. =D

i guess i see your point . what you loose in price you can make up in quantity. but just doing my timing and math i got 3 dogs trained on the new one in the time it took me to do one and if price fallows that guide line and people get quicker [oppinnion] the prices will drop 66% (2/3) [/oppinion]

Before you go and diss the new training style. Why don't you try and use it for a little while. I remember everyone hated the new layout and set up of VP. Now we have all grown use to the way it is and don't really think about it all that much. I haven't got used to the new training system yet to say I hate it or I like it. But I think I am going to like it. ;P

yes Zoe I agree. I am not against the system I actually like it quite a bit and have trained like 15 dogs on it so far but I think it would drop training prices thats all.

Well, since the 15 per turn was added, we all thought the prices for training would go up. They barely moved an inch. I don't think this new system would change it at all. I still have no clue how you're supposed to do it. I still do the click, backspace, click thing.

I think at first alot of people will train for the public but it will go down to normal after that. I am the same as some of you guys I think the new training is so so I don't hate it though

also i think the reason you see more "trainers" popping up is because post are only sponcer many of which are trainers and they are up longer with less clutter and new posts between

There are always going to be people that don't like/resist change, but I think most people are happy to see the change. I have grown accustomed to the new system and have trained 5 dogs 200/280 agg. to 250 groom till 11 in 3 hours. It's amazing! I can see the issue with training profits, but if you think about it, you still take the same amount of time you just train more dogs. So, although you might charge less per dog, you train a bunch in the same amount of time it used to take to train 1, and you still make good money off of it. I don't see the issue

I mostly train for personal reasons, so it's just quite nice for me

I would much rather have the new way as it's easier and you don't need to have as many windows open or click the backspace button as much although I think it would be better if when you click the next dog button then it didn't take you back to the dog's page but just put it's stats and skills on the training page. Then you wouldn't have to scroll down which would make it ever so slightly faster for us.

*cough* date check I like the new way, but I would just like the turn number to be seen. It helps for when grooming on for years

I have to admit, I really do like the new way of training, it's a lot easier, and with people having busy lives, etc, it makes it easier to get one dog done, and move on to another. I think it will take some getting used to, but we'll all adapt.

I like the new way but I think there should be a buttom that says new way or old way and you can choose which way you train.
