He's pretty devious. :D<br>I love how I drew his ear back and the expression I think all beautiful cats should posess. <3

    I personally dont like it that much.<br>I looks very flat and pretty dull. Just kind of boring.<br>The tail also looks strange. Not sure why, something just seems wrong with it.<br>I could say the same about the ears but again I do not know exactly what it wrong with them, they are just not aesthetically pleasing :|<br><br>-Edit-<br>I must add I am not familiar with the character, so the picture may infact be correct. :) Just my opinion above

    As for being flat, it seems you have only used three tones.<br>Use more. Show the shadows much darker in certain place. As with the highlighs, though from what I see the highlights look pretty light as it is, mainly because the base colour is light it's self.<br><br>The tail goes from thin at the base to thick at the tip, on most cats I believe it is the reverse. The tip should be thinner, though as I said, I don't know the character so I could be wrong.<br><br>The ears, well more so just the right ear (it's left) is at an angle where you should see some of the back of it. Think of how the cat's ears are in a sort of cone shape. You did well showing this on the inside of the ear (though the shadows could be darker) though you have not shown the curve from behind the ear.<br><br>I'll have another look and review what I have said, see if I can make it any clearer and such.<br><br>-Edit-<br>Indeed the internet is very useful but I have no need to to look up the name. I do not wish to learn more about this character whether it be history of it or anatomy.

    Most of the anatomy things you mentioned are how the character is drawn by his/her creators, ellary :3 Like the tail and the ears. I think that's why she suggested that you look Persian up on Google, so you'd see what Persian actually looks like before you critiqued it :D

    Correct as you are Kite, I still don't think I should take the effort to look up something I am not at all interested in. I look through the Artist's Alley quite offten and commet on which I think I should. <br>This I thought needed improving so I therefore offered my advice. It was just my opinion.<br>As for searching the net to find the characteristics are actually correct to how it was created. It doesn't make me like it anymore than what I did. I still think it is bland and boring. <br>After all WeisseEdelweiss has the option to ignore my advice and opinion. :)

    I don't tend to go for backgrounds either, they can make a picture almost perfect so long as the background is decent. <br>On the other hand a crappy background can just ruin the whole picture.<br>I chose not to take that risk :)
