There was an assembly in school today. Very sad.
Prom is on sunday, so everyone going to prom got to see an assembly, then a mock crash. It was supposed to show people what can happen if you drink and drive. The assembly was very sad, they had a guest speaker come in. She was talking about her husband who died on his way to work, he was rear ended by a drunk driver going 100 miles an hour. The mock crash was sad also. Student council took a smashed up car and put 4 people inside of it. There was fake blood all over the place. The driver of the car, Ryan, was drunk and was driving his friends Ashley, Tiffany, and Tim home when a deer jumped out in front of the car. He hit a tree. They had 4 ambulances, cop cars, firetrucks, and a helicopter come. Tiffany died on impact, Tim died on the way to the helicopter, and Ashley was sent to the hospital. Then Ryan was arrested. It was so sad. But the shame of it all was nobody was taking it seriously. People were laughing and joking about it and I find that very rude! Some of you may not know this, but Midnight-star's parents were killed in a car crash that involved a drunk driver. So it really hurt to see people laughing and see her crying.
