Black has an idea!

edited February 2008 in Game Suggestions
Dont know if this has been mentioned or not but I think we should have a seperate place to keep dogs in the kennel where they cannot age, like the pasture on VHR, you can chose for sertain dogs to be in the kennel and other in the rest of it, I find having to send my dogs to holding kennels while I train to prevent them aging to be annoying and Im not spending loads of my money at a boarding kennel (me no wanna be broke!) What do others think of this idea?

--Black

yes they do when you have lots of dogs there for lost of days and i want to be able to keep them at my kennel. My holding kennel is only a novice and im just going to end up creating more because they cant hold many dogs and I would like it if all my kennels werent holding kennels.

I don't really mind, what else would the point be to have novice kennels?
I just don't really see a point when you can just have holding kennels or board your dogs

  • they could use a different specialty, and it costs a fortune to keep them in boarding kennels if you have lots of dogs for a long time. What about novices who dont want to age they dogs they couldnt take your other suggestion and send them to a holding kennel because they can only have one

  • I have well over 100 dogs in one boarding. I contract them there. Even the VHR Pasture costs money. I have over 60 dog in my training. I only reclaim them to train them, or send them to a breeding kennel. After they are bred they are neutered and retired. Simple. :)

  • I've had over 400 dogs in a boarding kennel at one point in time. The way I see it... Is if you cant afford it... Dont have that much dogs... Or if you're doing lines, figure out a way to make money.
If you've ordered anything, please be patient with me. Having volcano/ash troubles. Msg me for more info, and I'll get back to you asap!! Thankies!!

They could put them in boarding kennels, or they could ask one of their friends if they could contract them to their kennel, or befriend a sponsor and contract their dogs to a sponsor's holding kennels. There are tons of other options for novices, but your suggestion would render sponsor boarding kennels useless, and alot of sponsors would be mad. They are a good source of income.

Besides, why would novices have to not age their dogs? They can't train much or anything.. and if they really want to novice train, then they shouldn't have that many dogs xD

  • Black's idea is great!! Please i know how she feels. I have lots of dogs and i train other peoples and its hard for me to board my dogs because i dont have that much money and when I am training i have mountains of dogs to sort through just to find the ones I'm training. So maybe we could have it for certain specialities. And plus novices making friends with sponsors just to get places to put their dogs is bad because thats just using the sponsors to get things

  • I have a boarding kennel so I board my dogs there. But the dogs are still viewable when breeding other people’s dog it takes ages for me to find them because you can still see all the dogs I own.
