Nursery

I think it would be cool if there was a separate part in everyones kennel
where you could put puppies from litters that you have bred, or even
the dogs that you bred to each other.

Why? Just because I hate it when I am breeding and after the litter is born
my kennel is all crowded :x And it would be easier to keep track of the
puppies. :)

Personally, I think it would come in handy :D

  • I agree. It would make it a lot easier to keep track of them
  • Yes I love this Idea! Would make game life so much easier!
  • This is a great idea!

  • Yes, it would be easier. I'm not a sponsor breedeing keennel, but I bred at few dogs at once, and I end up with 12 more dogs when they were born.
    Call me Stormy. ;)
  • That is a great idea!
And mood should go up because they're with other puppies!

I'm not on much anymore, If I win anything PM me.... Thanks
  • And that would be great aswell if you could like have different links in the nursery like
BoonieXNight runner Litter as a link, then your could view all the pups.

Great idea lighty!

  • ^^ this would be awesome! I hate having so many dogs in my breeding kennel, and I've got to stick them in boarding until they place the bids on them to claim them. It was getting very expensive so I brought a boarding kennel just to stick them all in o.0 I think that it should be like the rescue kennel is, so that people just don't stick dogs in the nursery to keep from paying boarding fees, so that just the pups that were born in the breeding kennel went in there.

  • yes, well the idea was that only pups are allowed to be in there...

if it was possible for Nef to make it so that only newborn pups to pups
up to 7 or 8 months are allowed to go in there

<<wants this to come true :D
  • I think that this is a great idea! I would love to have something like that in my breeding kennel then the owners could just bid from there. If when you took a turn the pups didn't age that would be even better that way you could breed other dogs while you wait for the owners to bid.

  • Love this idea :D It'd come it great handy :3

  • I just don't see a need for it. You can put pups in boarding kennels (yes, that does cost money, but it's not outrageous amounts or anything) and if your kennel is overcrowded, then thin it out. You can release/retire dogs or try to sell them. This idea seems like it could be abused very easily (players could use it to go over the dog limit on novice kennels, etc.) As for keeping track of what pups are from what litter, check the parents' bloodlines page.
My kennel gets crowed because I'm publicly breeding, and the pups are not mine to release and other such things. They are just waiting for the owners to pick them up.

But it would only be in the sponsor breeding kennels, thus a novice could not abuse it at all, and the sponsors already can have unlimited dogs. Also the only dogs that would be going in to the sub-kennel would be those that were bred in the breeding kennel. Like when a dog is rescued it's in the sub-kennel, and can only be removed from it, not placed in there by just clicking on a button that say 'put in rescue kennel' . The same concept could be applied to this idea

That is true, but takes a lot of time to load that page on slower computers. It would be a lot easier for when you are trying to get a breed up to 10x4 and have a lot of litters from the same breed.

Not trying to argue with you aziu, just make the counter points to the things you've said, because I really like this idea.

  • I'm a novice, and i do agree with the comment that many would take advantage, but could there be a limit there as to how many pups could be there for novices. Then maybe it could take from the total amount of dogs in the novice. Like you have a limit of 10 pups in the nursery, then you could only be aloud 11 older dogs in the kennel. It would still be the same for novices then, they would just be separated from the pups and older dogs
  • I do agree that MANY novices would take advantage. And tis why I
said for breeding kennels. But really, breeding kennels would have a
better use for it heart. Not that i dont think you shouldn't be able to use it
but I'm just saying, that breeding kennels breed more often and this would
be of better use to them
  • true. I just haven't been able to get a sponsor and i have wanted one since i started. I have wanted a breeding
  • I like it.
For novices, it should still have a limit. Meaning, however many dog they'd have in the main part of their kennel, depends on how many dogs they can have in the "nursery".
So basically saying if they had 15 pups in their main kennel, they could only have 10 pups in the nursery. Still have limits on however many dogs could go into the nursery.
If you've ordered anything, please be patient with me. Having volcano/ash troubles. Msg me for more info, and I'll get back to you asap!! Thankies!!

That's what i have been trying to say. It would still be a limit for novices, and you could still run the older dogs and pups separately.
  • I think that it would just be a seperate page just for sponcer breeders and the pups can still age but it will be easier to find them. And it could be optional so you could turn it off and on.

Id be alright if it was like that.
Please PM me if something happens

  • i applaud this idea. and if i were to get a sponser breeding kennel I would shove as many youngings in it as i can since i have too many (thus my selling off dogs)

  • I’m a breeding kennel, and I agree this should be only feature for sponsor breeding.
When you have two customers wanting there puppies and the other ones not online you have to put them in a boarding kennel which costs money so that there puppies don’t age.
  • I'm just the kind of person who gets really twitchy about having dogs there that I don't even want there when I'm breeding. It's a pain to find dogs in the kennel when there's like 50+ in a sponsor kennel.

Yes, it will be able to organize a bit which is the reason why I love the idea. I finally get to do things, and still be organized doing it.

It makes the game better if organization is in play.

(you should see my sock drawer. VERY organized. :D)
