Sims Castaway

Ok so I got the Sims Castaway for my PS2, it's really fun. My sims are Luna Lupe (main person I play as) Kodi Albert Rita Riley Christy Calaway, Chester Calaway(suppose to be twins) arn't I creative when it come to last names? :P oh, and there are chimps on the island and a parrot that stalks you when you sleep.O_o Chimps: Theo, Chuck, Barbra, Smokey, Pago, Kalani. I call the parrot Alanzo :P I just need some help on the 2nd island. I heard that's where the rest of your crew is but I still haven't found Chester. I've made it all the way to South River Jungle, do I just need to wait around there or is he on the 3rd island? Or maybe just somewhere I can't get to yet? Any help would be great.

I have no help, but... is it reeeeallly fun? I got it for my Wii and I haven't played it yet because I haven't had enough time. I think I will, in a second :P

It's a little tougher then normal Sims because you have to make everthing from scratch so you constantly have to get more supplies and chances are it'll break so you'll need to repair it. And your sims actually can die from starvation.(on pets for ps2 they didn't anyways, not sure about normal sims) The controls are a bit differnt too(on ps2 anyways) but once you get the hang of it it's pretty fun

Once you find your crew and get them to join your tribe you can divide jobs to make it easier. Some advice, don't build a roof over your fire, it'll just catch on fire.-_- Beware the stalker parrot! :P

ackk now I have a question >_< where do you go to "take a shower" ehh, I'm not good at video games XD so I need help

and I haven't found any of my crew on the first island, where do you find them? XD I found one on the second island, though. that's it.

you take a shower by swimming in the ocean or a pond. Don't worry about the weather, you can still swim in the ocean even during a hurricane O.o Asuming the Wii and PS2 islands are the same on the 2nd island: 1st person- West Beach; 2nd person-West River plains; 3rd person-East Beach. If you made a total crew of 5 or 6 I can't help because I only made 5 and I still can't find my 5th person :x :P

to get past the cave take a nap in the jungle so you have high energy. Go in the cave then head over to the steep hill, there should 2 stalagtites/mites(the ones on the ground pointing up, can't remember which is which :P ) at the base of it. Move around until the option explore comes up. Say yes, then 3hrs later you should be at Skull Rock Jungle from there you go the West River Plains.

Once you get the plans for the bridge you should make it your priority to build, that way it dosn't take 5 hrs to get from the West River Plains to the East River Jungle(then East Beach and South River Jungle)

mmkay, I found it, like right before I looked at this post xD anyways, it says this under jobs in the instruction booklet, "You can assign jobs to different Sims by selecting the Home Tiki". where the hey is the "home tiki" o.0 EDIT nvm XD I found out what that means :P haha, whenever I ask a question on here I always figure it out before someone post's.

I still haven't found Chester, but by looking around online I found out that the last 2 people (out of 6) will be on the 3rd island so that's were he should be. Now it's just a matter of getting all the supplies to make the stinkin canoe. :P Another tip, every thing you make is flamable so don't put anything anywhere near the fire, ever! It was starting to thunderstrom so I made a big roof that took up most of my supplies and put almost everything under it. I put it next to the fire thinking it'd be safe. It caught on fire, so everything under it caught on fire as well -_-. At lest I managed to save the stove and workbench. :P The weird thing was the whole fire thing was going on in the middle of the thunderstorm when it was raining O.o

A Wii and get it! xP but, I'de say PS2. xP I don't like the little handheld game things, but I do love the oldschool gameboy, though xD

Isn't Dreamy also looking for a DS? They have a DS version too, but I heard it was very limited and not as good as the other versions. I personly would say PS2, but I've never had or tried a PSP so I'm not much help. XP I'd say go with whatever you feel like would would use more. Ruffian, I have this problem I want to know if you have it too. My problem: When I'm not controlling a Sim they will make some food, then set it by the fire without even touching it, they will then go and make more food and repeat the proccess at lest 5x's before they do something else. All the food catches on fire resulting in one giant fire(usually destoring the table I just built to replace the last one they burnt) They then leave one Sim(the one I'm controlling) to fight the fire while they all freak out. As soon as the fire's out, they repeat the process all over again. >w< I want to know if your Sims are all pyros too? although it's really funny watching them freak out XD

LMBO! Yeah. PSP seems to have more games and things I'd actually use. I mean, I could buy the HP1 Movie thing. I could buy a cheap game to start me out, and yeah. More functions than a DS. >< Might not get one.

PSPs are great. There are loads of games. The only thing is if you have a PS2 don't bother buying the same game on both platforms...they are both the same. I bought Sims 2 on PS2 then got it on PSP and they are EXACTLY the same. Also the movies are ok..but there isn't a great range of them..well not over here anyway in the UK.

XP Yay. I'm gonna get the PSP. I found out after hours of research, that PSP stands for Play Station Portable. How smart am I? I am gonna get HP1(movie) this RPG game I forgot the name of. And order SIms Castaway from ebay. Then I'll see where my moolah went.

I finally made it to the 3rd island and found Chester. I built a house but I used a cheat to get all the materials, so now I have about 250 flowers I don't need because I already have 250 clothing dyes>.<
