Has the maximum breeding age changed in the new version of VP?

In the old version of VP, the maximum breeding age was 12 years, 6 months (this is still the maximum breeding age listed in the Help files - i checked there to get the number). However, I just tried to breed a dog that is only 5 years, 11 months, 1 week, and got a message that the breeding couldn't be done because "Stud is to old to breed." (This is the dog: http://www.virtualpups.com/index.php?r=Dog/view&id=92699)

Lowering the maximum breeding age by more than 6 years seemed kind of drastic, so I was wondering if this is just a change I didn't know about or if it's a bug. Thanks!

I would send in a bug report. it seems similar to when we couldn't retire some older dogs.

Anything you feel is a drastic change is most likely a bug.
