how do you search for dogs to rescure?

I don't understand how to use the new feature. Would someone be willing to help me figure out how to use the new search feature?

    You have to search for them just like in VP. Find a kennel that hasn't been active for about 6 months and check the dogs. If a dog is able to be rescued, there will be a button on the right side to rescue.

    The new feature is to find dogs that have already been rescued.
