Stud & Brood Fees

Ok so I'm just curious as to what you guys feel is a good/fair price for 10x4 stud and brood fees? I myself have had some that are under 1k, I've also paid close to 1 mil to breed to a rarer 10x4 stud. So just looking for some opinions on the topic :3

 • Good Question Para!

For myself I don't really have any dogs worth studding out since I use my dogs for lines so most are imports, but If people are interested when i have higher stats they want for their own purpose in breeding with a dog of mine I think price would depend on what I feel the dog is worth like for people who have greyhounds with the top speed ( I haven't been on so i have no clue where the limit is now) but when I played it was around 148-149 so people could charge way more than if it were a standard grey with good stats.

Stud fees for gifties I could see go in the millions the lower the oak type is/ Or rare 10x4 that the market doesn't have lots of.

When I think of a stud fee I associate it with how much I think I would pay if that dog gave me a pup of similar stats,
 • I only have a few dogs up for stud but I list them really low, because I don't expect a lot of sponsers to use studs, and I don't rely on them for income.
 • There is someone on here (the name escapes me at the moment) who has a lot of studs/broods available, and I like their system, and used to use them over other people. Most 10x4 studs are at or around 50k, and more rare ones are a bit higher. I think it's reasonable to charge a mill or two for high studs, but there is usually a chance you can spend that and not get 10x4. For what it sounds like you are thinking of charging though, your prices seem fair and something I would pay.

 • Thanks for the input so far guys. I am in the process of revamping an entire stud and brood kennel and still debating on prices. I've acquired a lot of 10x4's to use and want to put them up at a decent price. My old public brood and stud kennel had all fees under 1k, this included 10x4's down to 8x4's. However, I'm thinking of changing that and charging more for my studs but don't want the fees to get too high. Still debating on final prices but this thread has helped :D
