We can start our own pack and break free from Aksoi… he won’t hurt us anymore. Please leave with me.” “Juino. You can’t be serious! You can’t just leave the pack. Aksoi will hunt you and whoever is crazy enough to follow you and kill them. It is just stupid to try to leave. We are safe here with a pack that can fight. I can’t go with you… please change your mind… “ “Will you hunt me down and kill me if Aksoi tells you too?” “Don’t go there … “ “Will you?! … What happened to us Kota… what happened? I thought we were going to be mates… you promised we would…” “Things change. I can’t have a mate who is weak…” “I’m not weak! I just don’t believe that killing and fighting everything in your path is worth it. There is more to us than that… there is more to this pack than that. You know this. Don’t you?” “We are strong. We defend our land. You can take you little band of cowards and go… I don’t care. Just know you will regret it when Naraka pack controls all the territory under the sun. You won’t be able to fight or even feed yourself… if you make it that far.” “Kota… what happened to you?” “I became stronger.” “You became one of Aksoi’s pets.” “I guess you are right, and if I am one of Aksoi’s pets… I will gladly hunt you down and kill you Juino.” “I don’t believe you.” “I guess you will have to find out for yourself. Now leave before I alert Aksoi of your treachery. “Goodbye Kota… I hope this is what you want.” “This is everything I want.” That evening Juino left with six other pack members and set out on their own. They raced through the territory like their life depended on it, fearing that any second their own pack would be there to kill them like Kota had said. It took two days for them to reach the outskirts of the Naraka territory and other day to find a safe place to make their home. They quickly set up a pack order with Juino as the alpha female of the newly founded Guron pack. The peace lasted for eight nights before a Narakan border patrol arrived in the center of their camp. Juino and her litter mate Jode confronted the border patrol bravely and demanded their freedom from the pack. Kota led the border patrol and scoffed in their faces while Juino looked at him with complete despair… she longed to tell him her secret, but he was no longer her love. Kota and his patrol tore apart the barely made camp and left leaving fear in the small group of runaways’ hearts. Juino led her pack farther east in hopes of finding peace and a new place to call their home, but she knew she was carrying Kota and their home with her. Over a year later the Guron pack was stable and healthy with a supple amount of territory in their grasp. The pack was growing stronger, and Juino’s pups were growing older. She had left the Naraka pack knowing she was carrying Kota’s pups… he had no idea though. Across the territory the Naraka pack was growing even more aggressive after Aksoi’s death after a violent and bloody battle with some hunters. Surprisingly Kota took the alpha position and began to follow in Aksoi’s lead… but with more hatred to the Guron pack. War was on the way between the two packs…unless something worse comes their way…. Rules - Please be active. I understand that life is busy… trust me I do… but please post at least once a day or every other day. If there is a reason you are inactive, let me know so that we can continue the story without getting stuck with your character - No power playing or any of the other basic rules. - Post at least a paragraph… no one can continue after a sentence post. - You can’t seriously injure, mate, or kill another person’s character without permission. - Have fun! - Be creative… but also be realistic. There are no flying wolves or super wolves that can’t be injured. - Make sure what you write fits in with the current plot, it’s okay to stray away… but if the pack is in the middle of a fight… don’t go off about butterflies and rainbows. Also, if you get hurt stick to it. - YOU MUST HAVE ATLEAST ONE WOLF IN BOTH PACKS! - Rogues/loners are allowed if I approve them… it’s no fun if everyone is off by themselves - Not a rule, but if anyone would like to help with the art factor of the rpg like banners and such that would be awesome. - All basic rules of being a nice human being apply. Don’t be mean. - Have fun! I would like for this to be something we all enjoy. - Don’t be afraid if you are new… I promise you will learn and get the hang of things… I remember my first rpg… Ranks (I think the roles are pretty self explanatory) Alpha male- Male leader of the pack. (The boss) Alpha Female - Female leader of the pack. (The boss-et) Betas They are the second in command to the alphas of the pack. They assist with all major decisions and lead important jobs, they also can tell the pack what to do as long as it agrees with the alphas. Lead Hunter They are basically a boss at hunting and lead most of the hunting patrols for the pack. They keep the pack from starving and need to know where the best hunting grounds are. Lead healer- They have learned a lot about herbs and keeping the pack healthy and alive... if a wolf is injured, you are there to the rescue. Lead fighter- You have the be pretty strong or cunning to be a lead fighter. You are who everyone looks to when a fight gets tough and next to the alphas and betas... you are depended on to keep the pack safe. Hunter- You bring home the grub Assistant healer- (only one allowed) You assist the healer in everything Fighter- You defend the territory Scout- You are on a lot of the border patrols and you take on the risky business of checking on enemy territory. Elder- You have earned your right to be lazy and to tell your knowledge to the pack. Pups- You are the babies of the pack and everyone pitches in to take care of you Den Mom- You get to take care of the pups if the mothers are out getting air or doing pack duties. Apprentices- They are older pups either training to be a hunter, fighter, or scout (they can also go into healing or den mothering... but that is very rare) Main Character Form Remember you must have one character in each pack so it remains even. She has longer legs and big ears that make her a better hunter than she is a fighter. On her stomach she has black freckles that never faded away from when she was a pup. Soft hazel green eyes light up her face, and the black around her eyelids almost resembles eyeliner. Her fur is ruffled up it small cow licks around her legs and her chest, but it is still puppy soft. She once had a certain innocence about everything she did, but now her eyes look slightly hardened and wiser with the turn of events. Fur Colour:Sandy Brown fur Eye Colour: Hazel Green Body Type: Slender Personality Serene. Juino now has a very serene persona about her. She has grown up after becoming the alpha female of her back and through the hardships she faced with trying to keep them alive. She has also had to be a mother to her three pups after she left their father Kota. Juino can be quite silly at times and even puppish when she is excited or nervous… she isn’t always confident in her leadership abilities and sometimes she feels as though she has let her pups down by not staying with their father and also not telling them that their father is the alpha of Naraka’s pack. She can be very defensive against males when they come off as knowing more than her, and she is a real momma bear about her pups. She can sometimes be easily distracted from her current task and she can obsess over small details. She likes to run without any thing determining where she goes, but considering she is a mother and a pack leader she can’t really do that. Likes: She likes sunsets especially. She also loves her pups and her pack. She likes to run and she is a decent hunter when given the time to actually focus on it. She loves the wind and the rain. Dislikes:She dislikes closed spaces and not knowing what to do to help her pack. She doesn’t like overly cocky males or overly submissive ones. Wants: She wants to be a good mother and leader, she also wishes she could have had Kota in her life. She wants peace… but sometimes she craves personal revenges. Fears: She fears being alone or failing her pups or pack. She also fears her pups finding out about their father or their father hunting her down and killing her like he said he would. Strengths: She is a very fast thinker and the is an adept hunter. She is able to see the clear picture normally when helping with a problem. Weaknesses:She has problems working with male wolves and sometimes she results back into puppy like actions. Her attention span can be short. HistoryJuino was born in the Naraka pack an grew up quite healthy and happy there. As a young apprentice she became extremely close with a pup named Kota and eventually they fell in love. They did everything together… they hunted and fought and trained together and if either of them needed to talk they were always there for each other. Kota changed his training from fighter to hunter so that he could spend more time together and soon they were both fully trained wolves ready to make their contributions to the pack…Although they weren’t at the stage to take on mates they both knew that they loved each other and began to sleep close in the dens. It was the talk of most of the pack. One day they were forced by Aksoi to join in on a fight and it changed both of their lives dramatically. Juino watched the battle in horror as wolves from both pack were torn apart and killed without any reason why… she felt as though it was a waste of life and there had to be another way to handle it. Kota thought it was amazing to see how strong his pack was… and remembered why he wanted to be a fighter in the first place and began to resent Juino for being the reason he changed his plans. That battle caused the two loves birds to grow distant from each other… but Juino became aware that she was carrying pups and was terrified. Aksoi’s rage led the pack into more and more violent wars, Juino begged Kota to leave with her and start their own pack but he refused convinced he was better off with his birth pack. It broke something in Juino she didn’t know she had, but she left with a small group of wolves and started her own pack. She had her three pups and has tried to care for everyone ever since. He has almost blond colored fur that is a bit shaggy in places. His snout is long and pointed and ears are medium sized and set high on his head. He is swift on his feet and quite strong but lacks discipline. In a fight he enjoys pummeling his opponent and has no real sense of pride or honor. His light yellow eyes are often flat and cold but they gleam with cruel delight when he is in a fight or plotting trouble. Fur Colour: Light tan and cream (kinda blondish). Eye Colour: Light yellow Body Type: Tall, slender, lean well defined muscle. Personality Toyama has a cruel, sadistic nature and is often referred to as a sicko. He is a bully who picks on any new fighters or anyone that is weaker than himself to "show them who's boss.". This includes females as well as males. He is very arrogant and cocky in nature and walks with his head healed too high. He views himself as superior to most and yearns to be the lead fighter some day. He is often found scouring around looking for trouble with his tag-along Iwasa. Likes: Fighting, starting trouble, being a bully, feeling like he's in charge, the taste of blood, bossing around Iwasa and being an all out punk. Dislikes: Loosing, being told to stand down, being told what to do, those weaker than himself, having to practice his fighting skills in an orderly fashion. He is often reserved in his words and follows Toyama most places he goes. Though rare, he can at times be found alone. Personality Iwasa is often referred to as Toyama's tag-along. He is a quite, reserved wolf of few words. He often stands on the side lines and watches Toyama bully others. Though he seldom speaks his mind is always turning and analyzing. When necessary he jumps into a fight but is not fueled by battle like Toyama. Her grey and white fur has a red cast and is rather soft. Her ears, like most her features, are small and delicate. Her tail is a bit longer than usual and often flows behind her but stands straight and stiff when she focuses intently. While she is small she is immensely strong and skilled at fighting. She has a strong sense of honor and her entire demeanor changes when in battle. She is extremely light and swift on her feat. Fur Colour: grey and white with a red cast Eye Colour: deep amber Body Type: small and petite Personality Out of battle Tama is quiet and shy in nature. When she speaks it is softly. However, she is also very idealistic and has a strong sense of justice. She is loved and respected by all her pack mates. In sparing matches or actual fights her demeanor changes to that of a brave, confident warrior. She focuses intently on her opponent and does not move or strike aimlessly. She shows mercy when it is deserved. However, to those who have caused an injustice and thus, deemed a villain, Tama is ruthless and will defeat them at all costs. She is often called the Champion of Justice and gives training tips and lessons to the other fighters. Likes: honorable sparing matches, being in the company of good friends, justice, relaxing by bodies of water, and good food. Dislikes: bullies, injustice, those who lack honor, losing, and meaningless violence. Wants: To grow as a fighter in both strength and skill. she also wants to grow in spirit and personality and open up to others more easily. Fears: loosing and disappointing those she cares for Strengths: her power and skill as a fighter, her calm mind, her intense ability to focus Weaknesses: Being attacked from above History Tama joined the Guron pack after defending a small group of wolves similar in age against Toyama of the Naraka pack. The group had run into Toyama one morning and though they outnumbered him they were no match for the ruthless, bloodthirsty wolf. Tama saw the events unfolding and decided he was a villain that must be vanquished. Though she was physically much smaller than Toyama her speed and skill as a fighter far exceeded his and thus she won the battle. The other wolves crowded round her and begged her to join their pack as their protector. Though she is the strongest fighter in the pack she is not the lead fighter nor does she really want to be. He enjoys sparing matches to keep his skills sharp. He also enjoys a good meal and relaxing with friends.
