• That works for me LOL I tend to think vertically and didn't get my spacing in there correctly. But whatever is easiest for you, I think. I would say just for those taking part in the betting league. If someone else wants to set up events, they can send you the info on their event before they run so you can put it in, if you're willing to do that kind of work. Thank you, by the way

 • I think I'll have it set up so that anyone else wanting to set up events of they type of the week can do a betting sheet for there's. That way right before they run them they can update their post with the info. I think this will be interesting and fun. And not a problem, I've been wanting to do something like this for a while, just wasn't sure if there would be interest or not.
 • Is anyone else having a glitch with betting that involves the bookmark disappearing once the event is ran? I betted on all of the events that I entered my dogs in (30-40 events) most of which were bookmarked yesterday. I logged in today and the events were ran (I saw my placements on my management page) but the bets were not able to be collected and the bookmarks were gone. I only had 4 of the 30-40.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I've also run the mushing events and filled out the betting sheets for the dogs' name and odds. I didn't fill out the player name, bet, and winnings as I can't see that but if anyone wants to provide their info I'll plug it into the sheets. Results can be found at the link above at VPBL :D Hope to see you guys there and hope to see the betting continue. I'll announce the spotlight event type at VPBL either later today or tomorrow.

Cherokee : I've noticed that if the dog you bet on doesn't place and earn winning on the bet the bookmark will automatically disappear. They only stay for completed events if you have winnings to collect. At least that's how it's been for me.

 • Just something I've noticed sense this all started. I use to place $500 dollar bets but for a time switched to $1 bets. And it seems the odds will go up much more with a smaller bet. For instance in <a href="http://virtualpups.com/viewresults.php?event=386137"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">this event There were a total of 3 bets placed. I bet $1 on Vodarac and the odds before running were 1002/1. He came in second and I won $501.5. The other dogs have odds of 4/1. The odds were pretty much the same the same in the other 3 recent HHVL Flyball events, with one set having 5/1 instead of 4/1, with my $1 bets. Just wanted to throw this out there.

 • I was wondering how the odds got so crazy long! That's a great betting method if you don't have much vpc or don't like to risk too much gambling, and you can still win a decent amount! I personally always bet the max, which is 500. When you bet $1 and your dog came in second you made about $500 profit with odds of over 1000/1...but when I bet $500 and my dog came in second (in <a href="http://virtualpups.com/viewresults.php?event=386238"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">this event) I made $750 profit with odds of only 4/1. I had to risk more, but my winnings were $1250 rather than $501. And since I was pretty confident my dog would place in the top three in most of the events, it wasn't much of a risk placing a high bet. But I'll definitely be using the low risk method on events where I'm less confident in my choice or where all of my dogs tend to place well and I'm not sure which to bet on!

 • You pretty much summed up what I do XD I use the $1 bets on events where I'm not too confident but on ones where I know I've got dogs that do well I'll be the $500 max. It seems to work out pretty well that way.

Especially with eventing being off kilter lol.So sense I wanted to get betting going I decided a $1 wont hurt if I loose it ha!
