bunny!

so last night my mom had to slam on her breaks as a black cat chased this poor little bunny into the middle of the street. with the help of the neighbors, we were able to catch the little guy. we think he either ran away or was "set free" by his previous owner. he's currently in a dog crate on the porch- we can't bring him inside because me and my stepdad are allergic and I don't want my girl <a href="http://31.media.tumblr.com/f898b9ac66ba10b9f3591d42f1f2ccaf/tumblr_n36dczABo91rzbigco1_1280.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">fiona</a> to terrorize him. i know <a href="https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Bscx3DMCEAEWrOn.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">finley</a> is fine with small animals though.<br><br>so this is lil bun! my two year old sister named him lily (: so cute<br><br><img src="https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BsczPz1CQAAQdbA.jpg"; alt="https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BsczPz1CQAAQdbA.jpg"; class="bb-image" /><br><br>he's really friendly. he'll eat out my hand and every time he sees me he comes up to the wall of the crate to come and sniff me. he loooooooves shredded carrots and lettuce. i don't have rabbit food or anything so i've been feeding him fruits and vegetables and he gobbles it all up- i didn't know how fast bunnies eat!<br><br>sadly, he's going to the shelter tomorrow. we can't keep him i really wish we could but unfortunately with the allergies, the two year old, and the dogs it's too much! he's the sweetest little thing ever though. i'm already in love.<br><br>anyway, i have absolutely no experience with bunnies so if anyone here has tips on what to feed him or other ways to care for him and make sure he's comfy, let me know!
