• I've always felt like that, even when I only own like, 50 dogs :\
 • So far within the past hour I've gone through and released over 100 dogs... *FAIL*
 • I sold all mine.. I went from 300ish to.. 16? It's -great- I'm just working on one breed so it's easy to keep up!
Have fun reducing your numbers! ;)

 • How the hell did you sell all yours?! O___O
 • I always feel that way...mostly because I have a tendency to hoard dogs lol. It is nice to go through and thin the herd sometimes though! Happy trimming :-)

 • My hoarding of greyhounds is backfiring lol I have a TON of 147.9 - 148.2 speed greys that i am still reluctant to sell even though I don't really play any more lol

 • I have the same issue with my pitties lol In the process of working on my line I've bred at least 100 dogs with strength of 140-140.6 that I already know I'm not going to use...but I can't bring myself to release them :|

 • Well, you guys know I'm all about showing.

Coaster, I actually do need AT LEAST one greyhound. I only have a team of 3. Plus, two of them are 147.4 or lower... So let me know if you're willing to sell.

Bryson, same! I love showing pitties. I'd love to purchase one or so from you if you're open.

((You guys aren't helping me out by telling me you have show dogs!! >.<)) LOL <3
 • This is seriously a problem, though! I know that I don't need more dogs, but I feel a need to buy more. Once in a while I'll attempt to sell a few off, and it temporarily gets my numbers down. The GSDs do take up a lot of room but I don't sell much and, like Brys, I don't have the heart to release them! I might want that dog in a couple years, you feel?

 • I'm the same way. But now I just kinda put on my blinds and say to myself if I want that dog, I can always breed another. Till then, it's not needed. That seems to be doing the trick. LOL

If you end up with a nice high strength pittie I have a club just for weight pulling APBTS ;)

I probably have more dogs than I realize. From time to time I'll go through and release some. As I work on lines I tend to release the older generations as I go but some, like my Bostons, I keep multiple ones from different generations so I have quite a few.

Also where I changed my breeding kennel around and took all my former broods and studs off I have dogs that originally were only going to be used as broods and studs that I'm wanting to event. Some I could probably bring myself to release but most of them are from past lines and have names that I'm quite attached to so its hard to let them go.

Sure! The dog(s) would probably come neutered, if that's ok... But I'd be more than happy to put some dogs in the hands of someone that would put them to proper use!

My sentiments exactly! Most of my lines I retire previous generations once I breed the next, but when it comes to my pittie-babies or event dogs, I just know the second I release/retire them I'm going to want/need them back
