Dog Colors

So I have noticed that there are like random dogs that are Tri-Colored but its not one of the choices for the dog. For some breeds there is only one dog that is Tri-Colored. Is this because someone went and died these dogs that or is it something with the game?

    <span style="color:#400080">What you're probably looking at are dogs with import colors. I'm sure that there are plenty of dogs in the game that have been dyed realistic colors, but imports tend to have random colors that aren't in the breed description (like a <a href="http://virtualpups.com/index.php?r=dog/view&id=2510627"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">"White" Black Russian Terrier</a>. It's usually bred out as a line progresses. Import colors: Black&White, Salt&Pepper, Brindle, White, Black, Gray, Fawn, and Tri-colored.</span><br><br>

    Ah that makes sense! I was just confused cause it seemed odd someone would dye a dog that color and there were multiple ones

    So are these colors considered rare or not really?

    <span style="color:#400080">Um...there might be a situation where there would only be a couple dogs of a breed with import colors. But they're not generally considered especially valuable.</span>
