Hello dear friends!

My favourite Betta fish, Finnegan, has had a growth on his back for a while now and it's really starting to get on my nerve.

Does anyone have any clue to what it is or how I can cure him?
I've tried using the product 'bettafix' and it did nothing

He used to have a beautiful transparent tail and an unmarked white body
I'd estimate him to be about 2yrs old.

Help please
I can't say 100% but to me it looks like a tumor. My friend had a goldfish with what we believe was a tumor. None of the medicines worked. She tried anti fungal, antibiotics and the like and nothing. If that's what it is there's not really anything you can do for the poor fellow. I've heard of some people doing their own home surgeries to remove them but I wouldn't risk it personally. As long as he's eating and swimming fine I would just let him be.
