Not letting me rescue dogs from 6 month + abandoned kennels?

So, I've been able to rescue dogs before. However, I bookmarked a couple of dogs in kennels recently that the player was last on in May and some where the players were last on towards the end of June. By month and day,the May kennels have been abandoned for 7 months and the June kennels for 6 months, yet it still won't let me rescue the dogs? I'd prefer not linking to the dogs or kennels yet in case they do come for rescue so they don't get nabbed by someone else,but if need be I can send a private message to an OP with a link to the specific dogs and/or kennels. Also, as far as I know, none of the dogs I want to rescue are private breeds, they are all public breeds,so that isn't the issue. What could be going on? Thanks.

You do know its October right? And so June til October = 4 months (July, August, Sept, Oct). And May til now will be 5 months. You can only rescue after 6 months

January Feburary March April 1.May 2.June 3.July 4.August 5.September 6.October My bad. I did miscount. But May to October is 6 months as you can see. The day the kennels were last on was either a few days ago or just today, so the dogs in kennels that haven't logged in since May should be rescueable because that's 6 months today and in the case of the others, a few days over 6 months. And June to October is 5 months,not 4.

May doesn't count as the first month, because that is when they were last on. 1 month after May is June, so you count from June. <a href="http://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html</a> Plug the date in for when they were last on, and then put today's date in the right hand one. Once you've submitted that, at the bottom left it will break it down into months/days for you. Then you'll see it hasn't been 6mo

These are the dates the kennels were last logged onto: June Kennels(By dog so some of these dogs may be from the same kennel): 1. 2013-06-14 2.2013-06-21 3.2013-06-21 4.2013-06-21 5.2013-06-21 6.2013-06-21 7.2013-06-21 8.2013-06-21 May Kennels(By dog so some of these dogs may be from the same kennel): 1.2013-05-25 2.2013-05-27 3.2013-05-28 4.2013-05-28 5.2013-05-28 6.2013-05-28 I just realized the May kennels have a few more days before they expire.

I think it does count because there were some Tamaskan Dogs that had been in a kennel that was abandoned since April and someone rescued them at the end of September. So, January February March 1.April 2.May 3.June 4.July 5.August 6.September

It's not necessarily 6 months that you have to wait as it is 6 months worth of days, if that makes sense. So regardless of whether it has actually been 5 months or 6 months, if a kennel was last active May 20, the dogs may become 'rescuable' November 19, 20, or 21...depending on how the days line up. You just have to play around with it sometimes.

The month of May is 5 as in 5/28/13, add 6 to the month and you get 11/28/13. As Bryson points out, the game doesn't count by the day, as in it isn't 5/28, it counts from that date as 1, 2, 3,. The months average 30 days each, so it may be able to be rescued a few days earlier or a few days later. It may be even earlier, if the dog wasn't in 100% condition the last time the player logged in.
