Reducing Hyper in a dog line??

Hi as the title says I'd like to know if there is a way to make Hyper lower in a line over time? I'd like to get a good line going for obedience dogs where hyper docks points.<br>I've had a player tell me that i should chose a low stated hyper breed but i was wondering if other players had information or tips for lowering hyper... or if you found a way to do it.<br><br>Thanks all!!

    I don't know of anyone who has tried to lower hyper in a line. The only way I can think to do it would be to not max hyper. So if you can find a way to train up the other stats without hyper getting to 200, that'd be the way to go. Using a breed that has naturally low hyper would probably be the best starting point.     I actually did start a line obedience as well. It's kinda been put on the back burner...but I got a couple generations in. What I did was start with dogs with very low hyper, then stat maxed them for breeding (no grooms). I bred them in my training kennel instead of my breeding kennel. The pups came out with similar hyper to their parents, and I picked the pups with the lowest hyper to continue the line. It still improved a little, but I feel that by the time I get loyalty and friendly to improve significantly, the hyper will still be relatively low. Then it'll just be a matter of putting them in boarding for a while :-)
