Grain Free Dog Food

So I'm wanting to switch my dogs to a grain free dog food. However... I'm lost in a sea of brands! I'm most interested in Taste of the Wild right now, but I see a lot of good reviews as well as bad reviews. Does anybody feed their dog(s) Taste of the Wild, or know someone who does? What are your thoughts on the food? Have you had a good or bad experience with this brand? Do you know of any other -high quality- grain free kibble in the price range of Taste of the Wild?
Thank you for any help/advice. :)
Jacoby, Boss, and Stormy thank you as well!

Edit:
I'd have to buy 2 bags of Taste of the Wild, if I were to buy it, because one bag won't be enough. So I'm thinking of buy two different "flavors" - Sierra Mountain (because it says it's all life stages), and Pacific Stream (because it's the best for sensitive stomachs).

 • I fed Canidae to our dogs and was happy with it. The dogs liked it and I think it runs about the same price.

 • We feed Wilderness (by Blue Buffalo) in combination with a dehydrated raw food. We (and Savvy) have been very pleased with it.
 • Raw food...oh how I wish I was able to afford raw food for all three dogs. I had looked into Wilderness, but I read and heard that dogs with sensitive stomach don't tolerate it very well. Boss has issues with digestion a lot. Thank you for the suggestion though. :)

 • You might also look into Evo, although I have not checked the costs. We fed it to my Shih-Tzu for a while and she seemed to like it, plus she did great on it. The only reason we switched was because she started to have some trouble going the bathroom. Whether or not it was the food or something else, we're still not sure.

The whole company (they make a couple other brands, too) has had recalls on and off for the past few months. It had been off the shelves for a while, but it was back the other day when we went to the store. Just thought I'd mention it. We were feeding her Innova at the time (which is by them) and the recalls made us get away from it, switching between foods every few months due to recall wasn't good.

 • Petsmart sells a brand called Authority, we just decided to try it out and our dogs love it. It's much more affordable than most grain-free foods but seems to be just as good. We've used to feed them Nature's Varitey, they have "Instinct" which is grain free kibble and also "Instinct raw" which is frozen raw food. Nature's Variety is about the same (price-wise) as most other grain-free brands, just a little cheaper than Blue Buffalo.

 • I'll do some research on both of those brands. Thanks guys :)

I think I'm really leaning towards Taste of the Wild though. I spoke to a very good dog trainer/breeder yesterday, and he said that she feeds her dogs TOTW, and they all do very well on it. He had one of his dogs with him, and I was impressed with the skin and coat.
