Running out of ways to occupy myself

I'm bedridden for awhile - had an accident and extensive surgery and complications with said surgery - and literally all I do is sit on my computer and/or sleep and/or read. So many problems with this.

1. I've been sleeping so much that I've gotten to that point where no sleep is enough. I'm just always tired.
2. I have read every book left on my GoodReads "to-read" list.
3. Everything I usually do on the Internet is getting boring from me having so much time to do those things.
4. I can't find any decent movies to watch.

I'm going cray! HALP

Any book/movie suggestions?

Yep! She wrote the Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices.
Rachel Caines series (it's about a vampire town) Morganville is awesome, I love it. And she has another series called the Revitalist - which the story itself is quite strange!

 • You could do other things! Like drawing, jigsaw puzzles, crafts (needlework/jewellery making/card making/cross stitch). Take some online courses or teach yourself to do something new - like coding in a particular language.

His Dark Materials, Old Kingdom trilogy, Wind On Fire Trilogy and The Last Dragon Chronicles are good trilogies that I've read and own. Sadly I only really read teen fiction >.> but they aren't like really childish!

 • Anything Maggie Stieftvater is very good! The Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy, The Scorpio Races and the first book in her new series The Raven Boys is incredible.

I agree with the puzzles, i used to do work experience years ago at a second hand shop and found some really awesome puzzles but the board games were better especially the o es not in english had to translate the instructions but the were so much fun to play and idnever seen or heard of any of them ,even with no one else to play against theywere still good so if you know anyone who can find or lend you some random board games and puzzles you should do that :)

 • I have read everything I can get my hands on by Karen Kingsbury. All of the books I have read by her have been amazing. As for movies, I am that person that is addicted to Disney and will rewatch those movies over and over again. :)
 • I hear you've read the Game of Thrones books, but have you watched the series?

I'm not so much a movie person but I watch a lot of TV series, such as Touch (though I only saw one episode its really good, need to watch it from the start myself), Heroes, Lost (i don't like this very much but I know people who do), Dr Who...

Films that I like are: Final Destination Films (15), The Butterfly Effect (15 & 18 age rating), All the Harry Potter movies of course, Alice in Wonderland (Tim burton re-make), A nightmare before christmas, The corpse bride, Sleepy Hollow (15), Edward Scissorhands (12), Sweeney Todd (18), Rise of the Guardians, The Shining (15), A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010, 18) and Paranorman.

As you can probably see I like older movies and love Tim Burton films.

For books I'd recommend joining Watpadd or something similar, because people write stuff on there and most of the time its pretty good :) With lots of different genres and loads of choice :)

 • If you like Harry Potter you should look into the Draco Trilogies. I am not big on fan fiction, but that was the best I'd read - EVER! Lol. Its almost as if they are a real trilogy, gives a new insight to the characters. And has quotes from Buffy/Blackadder and a couple of others throughout the stories.
