Dye Color Suggestions

I'm looking to dye one of my APBTs after the real dog he's named after.
<a href="http://virtualpups.com/index.php?r=dog/view&id=2067515"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://virtualpups.com/index.php?r=dog/view&id=2067515

Titus, you can see his actual photo on the dog's link, was an amazing dog! I had just started working at the shelter when he came in so at the time I wasn't very outspoken and just went along with things. I knew the shelter wasn't a fan of APBTs or their mixes. I'd already learned that in the short time I'd worked there. Almost none of them made it out alive - and this was supposed to be a no-kill shelter. Yeah, not so much.

Titus was a good dog. He was very obedient and extremely people friendly! He was a dream to handle. Titus had one downfall. He was dog aggressive, a very acceptable trait for an APBT. Unfortunately, a couple of my coworkers weren't very responsible and allowed Titus to get into a couple dog fights. No real damage was ever done. I was off for a week vacation and when I came back, Titus had been euthanized, along with about half the shelter. I was so upset that I didn't even get to say goodbye. After that, things changed. With a little education, the shelter became a little more pit bull friendly.

I'm looking for a dye color to represent Titus in every aspect. Something to do with his personality, his unneeded loss of life, maybe even his color. This isn't really a contest, therefore I put it here in General Discussion. The color will stay at a 1 oak. If you have any specific questions that would help you come up with a color, let me know. Thank you in advance.

 • -Misunderstood Warrior w/ Lost Dreams
-Agressive Nature w/ Hidden Hopes Gone
-Secret Dreams Lost To Ignorance
not sure if im capturing the dog right since i never knew him like you did.
It annoys me that these shelters who are supposed to be about helping ,put down dogs because they let the dog get into a fight and dont know/have/use the skills to care for them and give them what they need to do well socially etc ,there are no bad dogs just people who dont know how to raise them properly ,its not a dogs fault he may be agrressive the shelter or the previous people to own him should have put more effort into helping work out the aggresion than just go and put him down...im glad they at least learnt from that and are more pit friendly anyways the dogs photo is nice what a great coat he had such a awesome looking dog :) (also sorry about turning your dye color suggestions thread into a vent thread)

 • Thanks guys. Titus was in fabulous condition for being a stray. We assumed he was dumped but we'll never know. I like your suggestions! Now I have to find someone selling a dye and make a final decision on what the color will be.
 • I'm not good with coming up with names so sorry about that, but I wanted to get involved in this post.

It seems like he was a really lovely dog and that they could have easily re-homed him where he was the only animal, and where they had an area to take him for walks and such without other dogs. My fiance's dog is quite strange with other dogs, and can be dog aggressive most of the time but most dogs can be dog aggressive no matter what. It's such a shame to hear that they did that, especially since it was their fault. You wouldn't euthanize a human being that gets into a lot of fights, so they shouldn't do it to an animal that has no way to explain itself.

He sounds like a joy to work with, and he should be remembered :) RIP Titus, he was such a beauty.
