Everyone made it out okay. Thank you Bama my back tires were bald (had no tread what-so-ever) and it was raining really bad. It started sliding sideways when it hit a pocket of water and started doing 360's across the lanes (it was a four lane with a large grass area for the median) and when it hit the grass it flipped 2-3 times, landing on its passenger side.. it was my brother and his wife borrowing my truck..

Thankfully Vampy (Vampire Venom) is amazing.. I called her and she immediately picked me up from my house and took me to the accident and brought me back home. She's an amazing friend.

Sadly we only had liability.. which means we are still paying for it even though its totaled..

It was POURING rain.. I swear I was soaked within twenty seconds of stepping outta vampys car.. I hugged my sister-in-law and she burst into tears thinking I was upset about my truck.. I kept telling her "its just a truck. It can be replaced. I don't care about it as long as you're okay"

Although when I got home I sat in my room and cried looking at thos pictures as I uploaded them.. that truck was my baby
Oh geez..I'd be devastated if that happened to my truck
I'm glad everyone's okay though..

I just flipped my car and slid 15-20ft down the rest of the pavement on my roof a couple months ago. Except, everytime someone asked if I was okay (which I am, just some muscle issues and a slightly messed up spine curve) I was so upset they were worried about me and didn't ask about the car, lol. I mean, I knew I was fine, I knew my car (they only thing I could truthfully say was MINE) was totalled though..

Anywho, like I said, glad everyone's okay and alive, and I'm soo sorry you're still paying on the truck. I was getting ready to take my full coverage off and just have liability two days before my wreck, but figured I'd discuss it with my mum first. Soo glad I didn't take it off when I was going to, never again will I not have full coverage..I'd be back to bum status living in my mum's house with no job, lol.
Tell me about it femme.. I was really upset.. still am

I was on my dads rear about getting full coverage on that truck.. sad thing was, it was gonna be paid off when my boyfriends get his money in from his lawyer next month.. on top of that, my brother was only supposed to use that truck for work while I was letting him borrow it.. they were on their way back from the lake swimming.. if they had of used it for what they were supposed to, it wouldn't have happened, ya know?

Although, like I said, it can be replaced I'm just thankful everyone was okay as well!
Glad everyone was alright, it could have been a worse disaster.

Insurance is always questionable about whether to have full coverage or not. We have 9 vehicles. Most are classics, so don't get driven much, far or in bad weather, so those have just liability. We're so careful when we drive them that the chance of an accident being our fault is minimal and the cost to fully insure them is outrageous by comparison. Our biggest concern is bad weather taking out the garage and our home owners not covering all the cost. All of our vehicles are paid off, but until they were, my Blazer and Mike's work truck had full coverage. Most places that finance vehicles require full coverage just so the chances of them being left unpaid are virtually nil if the car is totaled and we certainly don't want to be in the position you're in to have to keep paying on a vehicle we can't drive or don't have. The only vehicles we have full coverage on, that are paid off, are our investment vehicles. The ones we bought wrecked and fixed back up to resell. Like the finance companies, we don't want to lose the money we've invested in them.

That said, keeping full coverage can be expensive. When my Blazer went from full coverage to liability, the change in price was over $300 for 6 months. One of the investment cars we have, an 06 Mustang GT costs $900/6 months and that's with both drivers being over 35 years old with clean records and no accidents attributed to us. Liability on the same car would run us about $150/6 months. And those are cheap because we have so much insurance with that company.

I remember when my first car was totaled though, it wasn't anything fancy, a 10 year old Toyota, but it broke my heart because I loved the car. The only thing having full coverage did was give me a little money to buy a new one. So having full coverage didn't help me a bit to get the car back. I had a car once that the insurance company was willing to total, as in the damage exceeded the price of the car, but they gave the option of totaling and giving us the money for the car or giving us the money to fix the car. We took the "fix it" money and thanks to my ex, the car didn't get fixed except getting a new unpainted door and hood.

One thing I learned though, as much as you love a vehicle (reason I still drive my 13 year old Blazer instead of a newer car like my husband keeps suggesting), there will be another vehicle you love just as much. I still miss my little Toyota, but I wouldn't trade my Blazer to get it back.

Really good point Bama. I know ill fall in love with another vehicle one day. The reason this truck had liability instead was the cheaper aspect. I totaled my dads extended cab, so I had a wreck on my record and his insurance had gone up from that accident. The insurance company bought him a new 2010 four door outta that wreck. So we had his new truck notes, insurance on that, truck notes on my '09, and insurance on that. Plus he was supporting 9 people and all the household bills etc off of one job. He couldn't afford to add full coverage to my truck
I'm pretty sure we jinxed our trucks =\
As soon as I said I never had any problems with my Zeke, it cut off on me while I was driving...turns out my alternator, alternator belt, and tension belt needed repair. One of the belts was too small and caused to much strain on the other parts. Its fixed now, but now I'm out $800, which came at a really bad time because I move out of my apartment in a week and I'm already stressing about having to pay two rents for a month =\

Tell me about it! Maybe this version will give us good luck! Speaking of, on the bright side, my truck still cranks and can be driven!! xD its just not.. legal lmbo
Sooo.. Ive started saving saving savin! This truck WILL be back on the road! I had given up on it and written it off as little more than scrap metal for a while.. but when thinking about it... the amount it will take to repair this truck, is about the same it will take to put a down payment on a new car/truck. My dad is still making payments on this wreckage (we didnt have full coverage sadly...) and the total cost is FINALLY below 20k on it. If i put a down payment on a new car/truck (equivalent of fixing this truck) ill still have 30k+ worth of notes to pay. Sooo, when thinking about it.. fixing my truck back to legal driving standards is much cheaper in the long run O.o

Wish me luck! I'm gonna need it to get this beauty back on the roads!
