The Project Pony!
<span style="color:#800000">Mostly I just wanted to write about him, and you know, share my progress.<br><br><span style="text-decoration:underline">Details</span><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Name:</span> Solar Pride (Solly)<br><span style="font-weight:bold">Age:</span> Born Oct. 2004 (8 years)<br><span style="font-weight:bold">Breed:</span> Arabian Pony<br><span style="font-weight:bold">Height:</span> 14.3HH<br>no error there. he is a 14.3 HH -PONY- .. hence why he doesn't do well in his size group in Show!<br>we are considering changing him to a Partbred Arabian, but once I do that, he can't go back to being a pony. 
<br><span style="font-weight:bold">Starting weight:</span> 620kgs!<br><br>This is him as a 4 year old; <a href="http://www.horsedeals.com.au/index.php?p=popup&image=88204&event=6353&title=Australian National Arabian Championships" target="_blank" class="bb-url">he won Reserve Champion Arabian Pony.</a><br>But about 2 months after this Show, his hood slipped over his eyes and he skitzed out, he bolted and ended up sliding down a 20ft slope into a riverbed, splinting his far side cannon. He hasn't been shown since, but after a year he was broken in but not ridden often.<br>My goal, is to get him into shape so he can be re-broken and I can get him back into the show scene.<br><a href="http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/1448/sollyedit.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">2 weeks ago</a><br><a href="http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/9093/solly2edit.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">day 2 of being 'worked'</a><br><br>So yeah, it's only been a couple of days, and he's adjusted well to being back into work, mum reckons he's enjoying it because he's getting attention and after a few weeks should be feeling better because he will be a tad fitter!<br>I'll update this post with more photos as the weeks progress and hopefully he'll be fit and stunning by the end of July. xD<br></span>
