Trainings good dor making vpcand if your working on your own lines though if you are like me and never et around to finishing them try getting a breeding rescue or prestige kennel as a place to store dogs or offer other services, if you dont like the type you picked you can change it layer on

1. I like having my own boarding kennel because I have A LOT of dogs and I'm constantly buying and breeding more, and it's nice not to have to spend thousands (and maybe millions) of vpc every day on boarding.

2. I like having a rescue because I can work directly in my goal of cleaning up VP. I can rescue neglected dogs, and if they are good dogs I can put them on the market for a relatively low price and encourage people to produce better dogs, while if their stats are low or they're poorly trained I can take them off the market permanently to help keep novices from breeding more low statted dogs. The downside to having a rescue is, like Para said, there's no real service to offer to the public, and the amount of vpc you can bring in from a rescue kennel isn't really enough to support other endeavors. It's also time consuming. I don't often have time to do much rescuing.

3. I love having a training kennel, because I can work on my own lines if I want to without having to wait for someone else to get around to training them, and I can offer training in exchange for vpc, dogs, goodies, or other services. It saves a lot of time and vpc, because rather than having to pay 600k-2mil and wait a day or two for one 12yr groom, I can just take 10-20min and do it myself.

4. My breeding kennel is one of my favorites. It's really great to be able to breed my own dogs the way I want them bred and as many times as I need to. I can get exactly the pups I need for my lines. And by neutering and releasing all of my unwanted pups, my breeding kennel supports itself!

5. My prestige kennel brings in the most vpc at this point, since I'm not training for the public anymore. Having a kennel devoted to eventing means I can run 8 events and enter a bunch of dogs in a bunch of events every day. I bring in a couple million vpc every day, and my dogs don't have to sit around in boarding.
