I can't decide on whether I want to make a flyball team out of them, or put them into herding...
Anyone have any ideas on where they would be better suited?

Flyball. If you did herding youd have to spend a few years getting the aggro down to a suitable level before theyd win any money

I would say herding. Flyball judges primarily on speed and endurance, and while they have good endurance their speeds aren't exceptionally high. They could still do well though once trained, that's kind of up to chance. Herding judges primarily on intelligence and endurance. Both of these stats are pretty high on those dogs.

Aggro counts positively in flyball, and negatively in herding. Most really good flyball dogs have aggro at 250, and herding dogs need to have aggro under 60 to excel. By the time you skill and stat max the dogs, it might take more time to groom with RH/straight RH to aggro cap then it would to groom with FP/straight FP to get aggro 60ish or lower. Also, adding a simple loyalty cap would give your dogs every advantage in herding. Dogs that have been left in boarding long enough to gain high a/c have the advantage in flyball.

Since BCs have decent lifespans, you could do either and still have plenty of time for showing. I would suggest checking out a few events of both types, and compare the stats of the best dogs to yours
:-)
