Rides?

I know I personally am very proud of my truck. I take care of it the best I can, although I will admit that it has quite a few dents and scratches. Most came from when my brother had it before we traded vehichles. I've put a few there myself though! I recently had to replace the windshield from hitting a buzzard though.. Those darn birds are pests around here.. Anyways, I'd LOVE to see/hear about your vehichles!

Please, do NOT post pictures that allow us to see license plates, states, identification, etc. If any of those things are in the photo, then please crop/blur them out as they are against the rules of the forum.

This is my baby!! '09 Blue Granite Chevy Silverado. 77k miles. She's got aftermarket Flow Masters :3 She growls like a V8 and shes only a lil ol' V6 lol She will fly. I'm about to go outside and take a few more pictures of her headlights and tail end!

<img src="http://i40.tinypic.com/v4p1fr.jpg"; alt="http://i40.tinypic.com/v4p1fr.jpg"; class="bb-image" />

My dims are on top my brights are on bottom. NAPA gave me the wrong dims.. they are supposed to be the same blue color as the brights on bottom.. I wasn't about to spend $50 on headlights then turn around and spend another $50 just to replace the ones that NAPA gave me.. (I couldnt find the receipt)

<img src="http://i42.tinypic.com/35mecd1.jpg"; alt="http://i42.tinypic.com/35mecd1.jpg"; class="bb-image" />

My light bar is attached to my brake lights so its on at any time that my truck is cranked. • Here's Zeke!
<img src="https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/377083_10150534058149804_1288280531_n.jpg"; alt="https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/377083_10150534058149804_1288280531_n.jpg"; class="bb-image" />
Zeke's my quirky little '99 Ford f-150. My first and only car so far, and he lasted me for years, hopefully many more to come! He's my baby

 • Are Ford's good? I've heard about all the controversy about fords being crappy, but my ex's ford was a great truck as well! I've never personally owned one. We are kinda a Chevy family haha
 • I'm probably a little biased, but yes Fords are amazing. He's at 160k miles now and still runs just as good as when I got him five years ago. The only issues I've ever had with him was a minor starter issue when I first got him and I had to fix the muffler when some jerk rear ended me. Other than I've had no work done on him other than oil changes regularly. He's been amazing for getting me to school and back home, which is quite a bit of a drive, and he's done it many times without a problem. What's funny is when I get him my parents insisted he would break down on my first trip to college, feels great to prove them wrong =]
All this being said though, I think their trucks are amazing, but I don't have a clue about cars and SUVs haha I've always been a truck girl

 • Agreed!!!! I've always been partial to trucks! Although my dream car is a 1967 shelby gt 500 mustang xD

My truck is called Dimples cause of all the little dings on her haha I've had to replace two headlights, a windshield (buzzard), a thermostat and a coolant sensor. The thermostat and coolant sensor was for the same problem though so they only count as one issue lol!
 • Three of my five "rides"!

<img src="http://i44.tinypic.com/29428us.jpg"; alt="http://i44.tinypic.com/29428us.jpg"; class="bb-image" />
One on left is a 2011 version pinto not sure what brand but one horse drive. Not many dings so far but im sure there will be a few here in the future!

One in middle is a 199? red "ford" mustang who has a LOT of extra body work and sadly has been in a couple wrecks.

One on the right is a 2007 model Quarterhorse whos very tricked out and loves to use her engine.

xDDDDDD
Ps. this counts right?!
 • LOL! Vampy, you crack me up xD I'm sure they count! I know you have a ford explorer sitting in your driveway right now though which is most likely included in your "five" rides haha
 • Who cares about that old thing though?! Roman is MUCH prettier!
 • You're crazy XD I read that to momma and she started laughing and said "[insert Vampys real name here] is nuts!" and walked out xD
 • Americans always have such big cars >.>

I got a lil Peugeot 206 (2002) 1.4l aka my deathtrap =) It used to be a driving instructors car, but doesn't have dual controls anymore lol. Its clocked just over 206k miles on the counter xD And I've had it for 5-6yrs, was my first car!

<img src="http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r50/0paperwings0/206_zps532f8dcb.jpg"; alt="http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r50/0paperwings0/206_zps532f8dcb.jpg"; class="bb-image" />

Its called my deathtrap because its actually dying and kinda lethal. It swerves when you brake, and rattles badly when you general drive along. It is due to be replaced this year! For a Peugeot 106, which is one of these lil bad boys:

<img src="http://www.peugeotturkey.com/model/106quiksilver.jpg"; alt="http://www.peugeotturkey.com/model/106quiksilver.jpg"; class="bb-image" />

We had the engine upgraded though so it sounds super beefy for a little tin box :)
Is perfect for what I need, though I would love a ute (a truck, sorta).

Those blue lights are illegal here in Aus I'm pretty sure, blue headlights annoy the crap outta me anyway.
Also Ford are AWESOME!
I would die for a Focus or Fiesta, have to make do driving my dads Falcon :P

Also my car is named Biscuit because of it's original numberplate and the way it crumbled when it crashed :D Good ol' Bikky!
 • 2003 Hyundai Sonata, just got her so she has about 30,000 miles on her. I don't have any pictures, but it definitely serves my purposes! Little V6 engine with overdrive, and she's happy to get up and go! My mother thought it would be hilarious to nickname her T-mobile since my first initial is a T. -_-

Trucks are usually the car of choice around here due to the weather, actually just yesterday a friend of mine got a 96' Ford 150 with a red leather interior, really nice car although trucks aren't really my thing.

 • Paper: My trucks not THAT big xD, trust me its normal compared to some of the trucks around here haha. my dad has a four door V8 chevy silverado with bigger tires than mine haha I love your car its so cute!! My truck is out of align in the front so when i hit the brakes it pulls to the left bad!!

Clozo: It's cute! I would die if my brother wrecked my truck D: I seriously think i would just sit on the ground and cry lol the blue headlights are about to be illegal here in the US as well. I LOVE them as long as im not in front of them! They are bright as all get out and hard to look at at night. I get bright lighted ALL the time and i turn my brights on and they ALWAYS turn their brights right back off xD Like i said, i hate looking into them but i love having them on my truck lol

Tiny: Nice!! I dont like chargers for some reason unless its the '69 version! i prefer a '67 mustang or the new challengers for some reason! Can't wait to see actual pics of your car though i bet its awesome!!

Frost: lol t-mobile <3 trucks are usually prefered around here because of the dirt roads with all the bumps.. its bad when your in a car and every little bump makes your car go "kdkafjhaksdjf" <-- very loud crunching noise when you bottom out lol also some of the roads here get MUDDY! SO a car is usually not a good idea to have sliding around in the mud and hitting mud.. lets just say you'd be walking off that road until you could find a truck with a chain to pull you out..

Nacie: thats why i love my truck, plenty of room (i can fit six people comfortably)! i dont have a hands free, but if i plug an aux cord into my radio and into the top of my phone it will take my phone calls through my radio so i can hear you out of my speakers . I guess thats a type of hands free lol!
Well it was her car at the time... but she never loved it D: haha
The story is actually quite hilarious...

Morning of her highschool graduation, she leaves the house and 5 mins later she runs back in crying and squealing. She managed to smash the car into a parked car 5 doors up -.- She was doing about 20km/h and changing the song on her Ipod and yeah, wrote the car off! The other car got the tiniest scratch and my sister had to pretend that she was crying because she was sad about graduating. Heh.

So yes, Handsfree is amazing! Australia is insane about phones and driving, it is now not only illegal to be on the phone without a handsfree device, but you can only touch it if it's in a special cradle. So if they pulled me over, and I had my phone sitting on the passenger seat, I would get fined. Plus I'm technically not even allowed to use a handsfree device until I'm on my full license :\

I'm assuming your 'brights' is what we call 'high-beamed'. I flipping hate high-beams. I will happily abuse someone sitting wayyy too close up my cars rear with their high-beams on, it's really dangerous too!
I'm glad I'm not on the roads with you Garnet, you would be someone I would scream my head off at :P
 • Yea, our brights are what you call high-beams. I only turn my brights on when another car flashes there's at me to show them that my brights aren't on then cut then back off lol I don't do it for fun xD
