Look at this monster.

<img src="http://i33.tinypic.com/281aalc.png"; alt="http://i33.tinypic.com/281aalc.png"; class="bb-image" />

LOOK AT IT

I went to New York October of last year for my birthday, by myself, and stayed with my cousin in his dorm at NYU. During the week I was there, we were only able to fit in one area of the park, where the Imagine Circle and Strawberry Fields are located. I am determined to return and explore the entirety of it.

For those of you who have not had the pleasure of visiting NYC, you should totes make it a priority. It is probably the most breathtaking city like ... EVER. I found myself amazed literally every second I was there, and there is SO MUCH TO DO. I would never live there though, just because it's too fast paced for me. Everyone everywhere is going. All the time. It is very much the city that never sleeps. But, I will gladly visit anytime I have the opportunity to do so. And, I get free food and a place to stay :P One of the perks of having a genius as a family member.

Anyway...

 • That makes me even more nervous for my trip there Sunday! XD That image is definitely an interesting one though. Amazing how much there is in such a small chunk of the city, and it's also interesting to have a huge park in the middle of it all.

It is pretty intimidating, but I love how intricate it is. I think you'll love it! The only suggestions I would have for you are take a GOOD pair of shoes, cause you'll be doing lots of walking, and also be very careful crossing streets :lol:

Have fun! :D

 • I get unbelievably nervous before trips; not for the trip itself, but the concept of leaving something behind gets me. I'm sure the city will annoy/intimidate my brother; he couldn't even stand the population in San Francisco! Hehe. Crossing streets will be oh so fun - I got pushed in front of a trolley in SF. Hopefully nothing of that nature happens to us this time. XD

I can't wear shoes, heh. Even my good walking/running ones will burn my feet or cause other damage - so I wear sandals for long distances. I'm sure my brother and Vi will be wearing shoes. It'll be amusing to watch how they handle 15+ miles of walking though, lol. I don't think either of them is expecting that much, and I'm not saying anything! :P

Thanks! I'm sure we'll have fun. I even incorporated your suggestion of the Brookyln Bridge into the plans, so thank you again for that! ^^

 • Oh, Mercy, like I wouldn't read this. :p I've been running training for a 5k, I'll survive. I'm nervous, too.
