This will probably end up being a loong vent, so I'm sorry in advance. I just -really- need to get this off my chest, and figured that dog lover's would probably understand.

When somebody has pride for something, they tend to talk about it. Maybe they talk about it too much, but it's hard not to when you're proud of something. My world revolves around my dogs, and I have a lot of pride and love for them. I spend a lot of time on them and with them. I'm currently unemployed (but looking for a job), so I do have a ton of free time. I make my dogs homemade treats because I'm sick of all the recalls. I'm switching them to a better brand of dog food for the same reason as the treats. So yes, the dog food will cost more, but I don't care. I want my dogs to be healthy and live long lives. I also set up things outside, and inside for them to play with (such as a spring pole, a tow rope tied to a tree for them to shake, a couple of jumps etc).

Personally, I really don't see anything wrong with putting a lot of time into my dogs. It makes them happy and it makes me happy. If it doesn't bother me, and it doesn't bother my mom (whom I live with), why should it bother other people who do not live with us? For example...My aunt called the other day and while we were talking, she asked me "So, what are you up to?", I told her that I was making dog treats and then I was going outside to run Boss. This is the response I got: "Jeez! You put -way- too much time into those dogs! Especially that *insert "bad" word here* Pit Bull mix of yours!". Um...what!? First of all that "Pit Bull mix of mine" is my baby, do -not- disrespect him, or any of my other dogs for that matter.

Anyways, I'm done ranting now. I think...
