2 Oak(With Story)
Alright, so when I was a kid I heard the story of the real first Lassie dog Pal. Many of you probably know his story, but I'll give you a little summary anyway. There was nothing special of him from birth except that he was linked to England's first great collie. He was deemed a "Pet-Quality" pup by his breeder. He was bought by Howard Peck and sent to Rudd Weatherwax for training. After a couple back and forths with Rudd and Peck, Pal was then auditioned for the role of Lassie. He was rejected and instead cast as a stunt dog. After displaying his bravery, director Fred Wilcox decided to recast him as lassie over the prize winning female collie that was originally cast over him. Pal would than go on to star in all of the first Lassie Films as well as the first episode of the TV series before passing in 1958.<br><br>As the story goes, when Rudd was training Pal he had two major habits to break. Pals horrendous barking, and his tendency to chase motorcycles. He was able to break Pal's barking, but could never stop Pal from chasing motorcycles. Hence, the name of this color. I have been waiting a while to make this.<br><br>This will be the only dog of this color I will ever put up for auction or sell. I am only making him a 2 OAK because I want to be able to share him with VP. He will come neutered unless a Deal Via PM can be reached for him intact. He will otherwise be untouched and unnamed. Mine will remain intact(because I like having him as male haha) but I will never breed another of this color. So there will only ever be 2 of these in existence.<br><br>Happy Bidding and I hope you all enjoy this
