2012 Virtual Pups Awards(Winners Posted)

2012 VP AWARDS Description: Recently I have been contemplating what type of community events I could coordinate to jump some life into VP. Since it is the end of the year, I figured an awards ceremony would be appropriate. Basically, anyone on the forums may submit a vote by filling out the voting form below. Votes must be submitted publicly to ensure there is no miscounting or cheating involved. I want this to be a completely fun and fair event. The awards will be as follows: VP Player of The Year, VP Trainer of The Year, VP Breeder of The Year, VP Eventer of The Year, VP Rescue of The Year, VP Heart Warmer Award. Each award winner will receive an reward based on the amount of donations received as well as a badge with their name on it(keep in mind, I'm not great with graphics) they may wear on both their forum profile and kennel page. Every award will receive the exact same amount of VPC or other prizes except for Player of The Year, which will receive a higher reward than the rest because it is the highest honor given in these awards. I know I should have started this earlier but I didn't think of it till now. I will start it earlier next year. Award or other suggestions for next year may be sent via PM. For this year, just have some fun and please try to meet all the deadlines. Deadlines: All donations must be in by/on January 4th in order to give me a day to divide all donations amongst the awards. All Voting must be posted by/on January 5th to give time to tally all votes. Winners will be announced January 6th Donations: Please note that donations are appreciated, but not required to participate in any way. They will help make the prizes more extravagant, but will nothing will stop the fun of this event :P I will, however, promise that the more donations that are received, the more more I will up my own donation. I have made a special donation collecting kennel to keep track of all VPC donations. Send all VPC donations <a href="http://virtualpups.com/index.php?r=kennel/view&id=483684"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">here.</a> All VPC will be evenly distributed among the prizes, with the exception of Player of the Year(who will receive a slightly elevated amount of VPC). If you would like to donate something other than training please note that they must be submitted in pairs of 6 so that I can evenly distribute them among the awards. This means trainings, breedings...ect... Any donation submitted as a single item(ie dogs, gifties, 10x4s, dyes, upgrades...) will automatically go as prize for player of the year. Prizes will be announced January 5th, 1 day before the winners are announced. If you have any questions about donations, or would like to donate something other than VPC, please pm me on the forum. I don't remember when they've ever went MIA before (though I'm not secretly watching for that, they've just always been here dedicated to vp) Zag is a trustworthy player who really puts heart into whatever they do. They are number one top kennel and has achieved a lot of 10x4's this year. Not to meantion how many dogs they have on the top dog list. They're a fabulous rescuer whom I sometimes buy my dogs from and they are a good trainer as well. They are very friendly and are always willing to help. Tay - I just recently met Tay this year and I was drawn to their training prices and how cheap they were. The first time I sent a dog for training, it was done within a matter of minutes. Since then, they are always my go to trainer for skills & stats! Not only that, but they've also become a good friend of mine. I highly recommend this trainer for future trainings. Pom - I would have to say Pom would be the best breeder of 2012. They have achieved the highest endurance on Border Collies, one of the highest on Greyhounds for speed and again one of the highest on strength for Mastiffs. Job very well done! Nacie - When I first met/heard of Nacie, I stumbled across their rescue kennel. It would take you years to finish looking through all the dogs, but in a good way. I can tell they spend a lot of time to rescue the dogs of vp and to provide them with better homes. Fabulous rescuer in my opinion. Tuff - Tuff, goodness... Where can I begin? Tuff has always been there for me. I remember the first time we REALLY got to talk was when I created the RPG World At War. The first RPG in a long time to be a private one with me, her and Kit. The RPG has since died on this site but we hopefully we can pick it back up soon. She is a crazy awesome trainer too! Her personality is so funny... She can literally make me fall on the floor laughing. I know I can come to her whenever and vent. We can talk about anything and everything. She is my bestest friend on VP! This Chicky's heart is too big to compare. She has to win this award because she's already won Heart Warmer award from me. (: ilu Tuffers

Fly - They have the top dogs on vp. Constantly they're showing their dogs to better them and gain fame points. I pretty much begged them for MBD Max's son and right now he's climbing the top list like his father. Great role model (:

Tuff- If I had to pick the only person on vp to train my dogs, it would definitely be Tuff. She's my favorite trainer to use on vp, She always gets my dogs done really fast, and prices are so reasonable. Thanks for all your trainings Tuff! JadeM- I nominate JadeM for breeder of the year. The little time she has been here she has already gotten her PB to 10x4s, and great eventing dogs! And i believe will continue to thrive! Nacie- I think no doubt about it Nacie should get the Rescue of the Year award. She is the most frequent rescuer, and Sells them for such amazing prices! Bobbers- I think Bobbycat deserves the Eventer of the year award, because she has so many GREAT dogs she has bred and evented herself, and is always eventing! =D Flash- My vote for Heart Warmer, goes to Flash. I have only known her for like a couple weeks, but even then she is my favorite person to see on the online list xD. She is soo nice, and helps me out with allot of my training, and is an awesome person to talk to! Player of The Year: zagari wolf - I picked Zag for this because as long as I've been playing she has been here on vp. I've seen her on the forums and on vp and she has always been very nice when we've talked. She's also been great competition in community events! Eventer of The Year: Nacie - Ever since I started playing VP I have looked up to Nacie in eventing. Especially when it comes to my favorite event, mushing! She has always been some of my biggest competition in the mushing ring. Heart Warmer Award: poppomgirl - Pom has been nothing but nice to me. She has put a smile on my face on more than one occasion. She is one of the most caring and generous people I've met here on VP.

Eventer of The Year: Paranormal Wolf Heart Warmer Award: No vote Comments(optional): Nacie- I really admire Nacie. She has a great rescue with fair prices, her boarding is the only kennel I go to (have it bookmarked!) and she's a force to be reckoned with in the eventing ring. And on top of that, she's always been extremely nice when I have talked to her. Troglin- You're one of my favorite trainers. You've stepped up when nobody else would, prices are very reasonable and my dogs are always trained correctly (and also quickly!) poppomgirl- I was really excited to see you come back! You've always been there to chat with and have done a lot for me. You've definitely achieved a ton in the lines department, from 147.4 endurance border collies to 10x4 firsts. Para- I love the fact that you breed most of your eventers. When I say this I mean it in a good way, you pretty much came out of nowhere! You really caught onto the game and how it works very quickly, and since then you've done a lot. Just placed first in the agility challenge, you're on the top kennels. One to beat for sure!

She's allowed me to use her kennel when I didn't have one. She's given me advice on training, breeding, and more. And who wouldn't love her fun stories. She has bred countless 10x4s and has the largest collection of them on VP. Who could ignore that dedication? She's a fabulous trainer too! TuffGirl - What can I say? She's trained countless dogs for me and helped me get quite a few different breeds to 10x4. She's fast and affordable. Just a top notch trainer! Fly - I admire her for breeding clean lines. I'm too impatient for that. Nacie - I think Nacie has bookmarked every inactive kennel there is. It's always a fun race to see who gets the dogs we want first. Gives me a rush. lol And even if Nacie gets the dog I want first, she's always more than happy to sell it to me for a reasonable price. Between the two of us, we've rescued and released/retired a ton of common gifties. I appreciate her help with my little project. Para - Para has come a long way in a years time. I know she wanted on the top dogs list for a while and I just saw that she's at #30 now. She's great competition when we have community events. Anastasia - She's what VP is all about. She's been more than kind to me during my stay on VP. Offering me things when I don't even ask for them but mean a lot to me. She dyed one of my VP dogs in honor of my real life dog when he died in January just out of the kindness in her heart. She's offered me numerous free trainings, etc. I look up to her a lot.

Zagari - I've been playing on and off since 2005 and I always remember seeing 'Zagari Wolf' as a very active player. They are always willing to help me out with any questions or challenges I come across. BobbyCat - I just recently met BobbyCat when I decided to get into eventing. Just asked a simple question as to what dogs to use and how to tell which is the best event for a certain dog. We have a little competition all the time with our Flyball teams as well as I see her other dogs in all events and they frequently kick my butt.

Like someone else said, I’ve never seen her inactive. That’s quite some dedication! And it’s paid off! One day I hope to have as many accomplishments as her. Every time I’ve talked with her she’s been nice and helpful, everything a good player should be. She’s definitely a great example to all new players and old. Brutis- I know you haven’t been here all of this year and you’re the host, but I’d still like to vote for you. You’re amazing. When I send dogs for you to train I don’t even have time to blink before they’re done. It’s crazy! Whether or not you accept this vote, you definitely deserve this one. Pom-Whenever I’m on, she’s on. She’s constantly working on something and she always has something for me to train. I don’t how she is so motivated all the time. I wish I could breed as many 10x4s as she does! Bobs-From the moment I met her, she was high on the top kennels list. I’ve always admired it and have tried to rise up on the list myself. I know how proud she is of her top dogs and how much being on the list means to her. So, she definitely deserves this award. (:

She has all kennels, has dogs on the top dog list, and has some amazing dogs that she bred including PBs that I love! Is my BEST customer at my rescue kennel. Always buying dogs, does not matter the oak or stat and we have done some great trading for dogs we want that the other has! I can also count on Aziu to quickly answer questions or comments I send – and with a great attitude. zagari wolf: I will quote what you said about me. “It's always a fun race to see who gets the dogs we want first. Gives me a rush.” This is exactly how I feel about rescuing. Always fun competing against others to see what you get and it is indeed a rush! Thanks for many rushes, Zag! Poppomgirl: All I can say is – WOW she always comes up with the dogs, speeds, strengths that I love and that I just can’t get when I breed! Anastasia: As many of you already know, I posted a Christmas Wish List where I was paying for my wishes to get rid of some VPC and not only was Ana the only person offering to grant one of my wishes but then she did an amazing job AND she tried to give it to me for free! I was so happy when Ana showed me the write up of my future PB – in fact I was bouncing off the walls! There was no way I could have let her do all that work for free. Then Ana came through again and granted another one of my wishes – she bought my PB with her rl money and I paid VPC. Thank you very much Ana – you are awesome and I love my Ecanho Illume Hybrids!

Zagari: I've never chatted to her but she's the player you always find participating in everything all over vp and her dedication is obvious with just a quick look at the top dogs and kennels list. Nacie: Again, I haven't chatted to her but I've taken a look at her kennels and clearly amazing work being done. Flashing Lights: She's on every day and always eventing in just about every event there is, really admire her dedication. Poppomgirl: Wow, what can I say about Pom except I can't think of another person who is more perfect for this award, always there with advice, support and a bunch of gifts, she's given me so many amazing dogs. I always come away with a smile on my face after chatting to her, she has a heart of gold.

Nacie - I had to put you in here somewhere, what better place than Rescue of The Year? Lights - You really deserve this award, I always compete with you in my head when we are in events together.
