Equestrian style fashion?
Do any of you have thoughts on the 'equestrian style' fashion stuff that's been going around lately?<br><br>I'm not sure how I feel about it. It's weird to see my friend's getting tall boots and wearing them with tan pants or a navy blazer and jeans lol<br>A few months ago when I went to the store in my barn clothes I would get the WEIRDEST looks. Now, I go in my barn clothes and get "Where'd you get those boots?! They're so nice!" and "Where'd you find those leggings?!"<br><br>This was conversation I had with a lady at Starbucks when I stopped in there on my way to a show a few weeks ago:<br><br>*me, standing in line to get coffee*<br>Lady: Excuse me?<br>Me: Yes?<br>Lady: Where'd you get those boots? I just love them!<br>Me: *assuming the lady is a horse person* I got them at 'so-and-so' Tack Shop.<br>Lady: I've never heard of that. Is it in a mall around here? <br>Me: O.O no, it's an equestrian store.<br>Lady: Oh. How much were they?<br>Me: $300 I believe.<br>Lady: $300?! I would never pay that much for fake leather!<br>Me: They're show boots. I ride horses. They aren't just for walking around in.<br>Lady: Well they're still adorable, especially with your nude color leggings!<br>Me: Oh, my breeches?<br>Lady: Yeah, your leggings! <br>Me: >.> thanks...<br><br><br>No. Stop that.
