Reverse Training horses?
Have any of you guys heard of 'reverse training'? <br>My trainer taught me a bit about it and it essentially means untraining an animal of a certain habit. I've had to start this with my TB in jumping because he got into the habit of rushing fences so bad that I could hardly control him (it's NOT that he is poorly trained-he's just easily excitable)<br><br>I'm actually surprised as to how well it's worked for me. I took out all large jumps completely and have been reworking him over crossrails and small verticles.
