Color Contest for New Breed
I am starting a personal breed in the coming month or two, and I am in need of up to but possibly less than 4 colors. Each color I pick, you will receive a neutered, unnamed, untouched dog of the breed (not an import). Dogs will NEVER be more than 8 OAK. I don't plan on having more than 4 dog of this breed at any given time. <br><br>About The Breed:<br><br>Name: Ancient Soul Hound<br><br>Origin: Ancient people kept them as both protection, and as a way to contact their ancestors.As civilization progressed, and rituals to the spirits fell out of style, so did the Ancient Soul Hound. Also, as cities were formed, very few people had room for these huge and ethereal beasts. They were kept in temples up through the fall of the Roman Empire. Having had a majority of the temples and palaces they dwelt in destroyed, they returned to the wild. Some took refuge in the Americas, becoming a central part of the spiritualities of the Native Americans. With the settling of North America, they faced the possibility of having their way of life destroyed again, so they retreated westward with their native masters. The Victorians, and their fascination with the occult once again popularized the breed. Many of the aristocracy and the popular mediums of the time kept them to help with séances.<br><br>Currently found: Ancient Soul Hounds are drawn to places where the barrier between earth and the spirit world is thin. They are often sighted in places which have endured great tragedy, or an excess of occult rituals. Much like the spirits they are drawn to, their existence has long been debated due to their ability to travel between the two worlds. This ability allows them to hide from most any enemy.<br><br>Purpose: To locate and protect the souls of both the living and the deceased.<br><br>Physical description: The Ancient Soul Hound is a large animal, standing nearly five feet tall and weighing upwards of three hundred pounds. They are extremely strong dogs, able to endure almost any conditions. As a solitary breed, they are very shy and try to avoid contact with humans. However, if one is found and captured they form a quick and strong bond with their owner, and will follow and protect their master throughout this life and the next.<br><br>Special qualities: Ancient Soul Hounds are able to move between earth and the spirit world, they are also thought to be one of the only creatures capable of destroying evil spirits. While Ancient Soul Hounds repel evil and darkness, they also attract good benevolent spirits and light.
