This didn't have to happen!

<span style="font-size:85">So my dad has this thing going on for his church that he wants us all to go to, its a teen activity, which I would be fine with doing this. BUT then he had one of my sisters drive our Crown Victoria (what we normally drive to school), because she has to work tonight, and my other sister drive the Suburban, so we can drive it to the teen activity. We live about 20 minutes from town, and with gas prices we try not to drive the Suburban into town that much unless we have to. Well, we have to stay in town until we leave for the teen activity (another 45 minutes away) because of my dad's poor planning. <br>Okay, we get out of school at noon every Friday. We have nothing to do except for get on the computer, read, and sleep. We're leaving to go to the teen activity at 5:15... that means around 6 hours of doing NOTHING! <br>My dad tries to get us to be active and everything, and not be on the computers and stuff all the time, but how can we NOT when he makes us do stuff like this! The simple thing would have been to leave the Suburban at home, all of us come to school in the Crown Victoria, then go home and bring the Suburban back into town at 5:15, same amount of gas, less time wasted....anyone think of that?
