B.B. King! :D

Since my birthday was back on July 28....My parents planned to take me to a casino and gamble for the first time. However, that didn't workout to well because things came up. So, earlier today I was at my school's music/art performance website thingy and saw that B.B. King is going to be performing at school/town. I told my mom about the concert and she said she'll think about it. Later she tells me to show her the website that says he's going to be on there, and next thing I know she buys me a ticket!! :D My mom said, "you're lucky you get to go see a legend, I would love to go with you but work won't let me. But I'm sure you'll have fun." <br><br>I love my mom for introducing me to his music and getting me the ticket see him live. And she knows how much I love to go to concerts. Now I have two count downs to look forward too! One to see Eddie Izzard in October and B.B. King in November :D

    I envy you. I would love to go see BB King. My husband is a HUGE blues lover. He must have all his songs in duplicate around here.

    You're one of the very few who have told that xD It's pretty sad that people don't appreciate blues as much, well the people that I know. I even find it funny that people say they don't like blues but listen to rock, and rock is accelerated Blues. But eh, their lost. <br><br>I don't have any of his albums :/ but I do have a few songs that I download to study for in my Rock History class.

    I think most people hear "Blues" and don't honestly know what it is, it just isn't popular, therefor it must not be good LOL
