Writing Contest - Winners Posted Page 3
All the details aren't worked out yet but I will be making finishing touches on it tomorrow. <br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Basic info:</span><br><br>I will give you four main characters and you will write a story about them. It can be about anything as long as it has the main characters in it. The story can be as short as a paragraph or as long as you like. Entries should be PMed to me. Did I miss something? Just ask! You may enter as many stories as you'd like. <br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Characters:</span><br><br><span style="font-style:italic">Daryn - She has shoulder length, blonde hair with bright, sky blue eyes. Very friendly and vocal but once you get on her bad side, you're finished. She is extremely athletic. She has a lot of friends but doesn't make them easily. She comes off as being tough and rude but you just have to get to know her. <br><br>Addison - She has long, sandy brown hair with green eyes. She might come off as a snob but that's because she is very shy. Once you get to know her and realzie that, she is your friend for life. She is so sweet! She is very insecure with herself and cares a great deal what others think of her. She isn't exactly lazy but she's no where near as active as Daryn. <br><br>Owen - He has shaggy red hair with beautiful green eyes. He's a go-getter and takes charge in every situation he's in. He's large in that he's tall, well muscled, and active. He works out daily. He is a pretty good boxer. He has a temper so don't get him mad. <br><br>Preston - He has shaggy black hair with green eyes. He's kind of nerdy but the nicest person you'll ever meet. He is always looking for ways to help others whether it's building someone a new house or just hanging out with them because they're lonely. He's a small person but don't let that fool you. He can sure hold his own and doesn't let anyone bully him around.</span> <br><br>Now take what I've said and make the characters your own. If there is some little bit of personality that I've left out, make it up! I kind of left the ages up to you. If there's a new character you want to add, go for it. Just make sure these four are you main characters. If you want to make the siblings or boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife or whatever, that's fine too. It's your story! <br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Prizes:</span> <br><br>Everyone who enters will get at least 1 million VPC but you have to at least attempt to put some effort into it. <br>1st: Up to 12 years of training, 4 mill VPC, 1 oak giftie, 3 oak giftie, 6 oak giftie, 8 oak giftie, <br>2nd: Up to 6 years of training, 3 mill VPC, 3 oak giftie, 4 oak giftie, 9 oak giftie, <br>3rd: Up to 3 years of training, 2 mill VPC, 4 oak giftie, 6, oak giftie, <br> <br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Judging:</span> <br><br>I will judge based on story content, how well you thought out the plot, and grammar. I may ask someone else to help judge. If you'd be interested in assisting the judging, PM me and we can talk. Bonus points if the entrant guesses who these characters are based on.
