Blind Goat

edited July 2012 in Vent
Raven had this bout with polio (weird yeah really weird). Anyways she's doing good, but is now blind. Or kinda blind. She can see shadows and stuff, but that's about it. It's the saddest thing ever. She trips over feed tubs, and she'll bump into other goats. It just ugh ;-; It upsets me. She's my baby, and she's only two. It's weird and depressing, because she was fine Saturday, and now Tuesday she can't see.

 • awww thats sooo sad, poor goat... hopefully she'll get used to it eventually, but you probably won't be able to move feeding boxes and things around cause they get used to where things are.

My grandma has a cat who has brain damage and always has and she can barely see, so they can't re-arrange furniture. Cause she see's it too late, like when I go round and sit on the sofa with my grandpa Mitzy (the cats name, not sure how they spell it) will bump into my legs cause she isn't used to someone being there.

Just so you know the cat is very happy, so they can live good lives, it just sucks.

 • My friend has a blind goat, this adorable little thing. She's a house goat now, my friend keeps her nearby and she has a little collar with a bell on it. The goat follows my friend around and never strays, and if my friend walks too far away too fast, she just freezes and refuses to move. It's cute, but really sad too D8
