Sprained Nose?>>>

Well long story short, I was wrestling with my dogs two days ago and one of them stepped on my nose. My mom (who is a Paramedic, so she knows what she is talking about) checked on it after it happened and everyday after that and said I had no signs of it being broken (black eyes, it being VERY swollen, etc.), but that it showed signs of being "sprained". It is slightly swollen and red on the cartilage. The way I described the pain and how it felt also sounded to me like how I feel when I sprain my wrists and ankles (which happens very often). It tingles often and it hurts to move and touch and like I said it is red and slightly swollen. So now I have a few weeks of pain meds and trying to ignore the tingles so I will not itch my nose and make it worse.

  • Ouch, doesn't sound fun at all. I love my dogs but boy can't they accidentally cause pain haha. Koopa once whipped me with his tail and bruised my leg.
  • Ouch! I had to go to the hospital last night for stitches and while I was there the doctor looked at my nose and told me the same thing.... It's sprained. I have NEVER heard of a sprained nose, but if the doctor even says that is what it is, I won't argue.
