Slender

Has anyone heard of the video game, Slender? It's based on the myth, Slender Man (aka The Operator). It's a paranormal shapeshifter who takes on the singular form of a tall, slender, faceless, bald-headed, suited man and uses light and shadow to stalk, terrorize, and in a few cases kill his victims. <br><br>I just downloaded the game onto my mac, took me 10 mins. to convince myself to play the game. Only managed to play 5 mins because I saw the slender man, freaked out, and quit the game before it killed me xD Man, and I thought Amnesia was a scary game lol <br><br>Anything horror relating I'm very good at not getting scared, but I don't know, there's something about this game that actually really creeps me out.

    lol it's a very simple but yet very horrifying game. The only objective is to collect all 8 notes out in the woods, and well stay alive. I'm played it on my mac, so it should be really easy to run on any computer, unless you have a very old computer with horrible graphics. I think the file was 58 mb.

    I may check it out then, our computers are fairly new but can't run games with awesome graphics lol. We have been able to play a few games on them so this one just may work :)

    Oooh. Im going to try playing it now. If it's scarier then Amnesia then it's a MUST play. I love Amnesia... and all the other horror games. xD

    Ohhh my gosh! I LOVE Slender and Amnesia! <br>I always freak myself out when I play Slender because I live in the woods and I'm convinced if I go out there at night that there will be notes on the trees and he'll be watching me! lol

    So, I finally got the game to work. It wasn't disappointing. Freaked me out a bit. The noises were definitely scary and I jumped a few times when he just appeared, standing there and watching me, behind random corners. o_o What killed me was the urge I had to just stare at him and watch him come closer. I ended up finding six notes then purposely turned around to look at him. I guess my curiosity is stronger then my instinct to stay alive. xD Thanks for making me aware of the game. It was fun. :D

    <br><br>No problem! =D I'm more than happy to share the scare lol And I'm glad you enjoyed it! But man....he loves popping out of random corners, just standing there watching you. At times, he will even be literally right behind you, so if you turn to make sure he's not in sight...boom, you're dead xD So, it's better to not look back.

    I never heard of Slender before, I currently own Amnesia but have never played it myself, and my fiance cannot play Amnesia cause it scares him too much... though he normally plays anything scary and forces me to watch horrors, so it must be extremely scary... I will have to ask him if he's ever heard of Slender or played it

    <br><br>I saw a few videos of someone else playing it ;) It freaks me out sooo much! lol <br>I would DIE if I lived near a tunnel... I can live with being in the woods but tunnels freak me out more.
