Well..as some of you know, I've been leasing a little chestnut mare.(:

So, I'm sure everyone would like a little bit of information, and of course pictures.

.:.Background.:.
Breed: Thoroughbred
Gender: Mare
Age: ~8 years
Height: ~15.2 hands
Build: Stocky build, more like a QH than a TB.
Training: She's currently a finished trail horse, but I am training her for games, which include: barrels, pole bending, keyhole, stakes, etc. I'm going to be showing her at fair in August this year, and I'm hoping for some nice paybacks.
I'm hoping to show her in western pleasure, games, trail, and..anything else western, lol.
History: ST was a rescue horse. When her owner originally told me she was a rescue, I thought that she just bought her from someone and she may have been a bit skinny or the such. Well, she was actually rescued. About six years ago there was a seizure on a large farm a few counties up from us. A friend of hers asked if she'd be willing to trailer since the Humane Society was looking for trucks and trailers to haul the horses from the farm. Thinking she was just hauling from that farm to another, she obliged. Turns out, none of the horses had homes, and the horses being trailered were suppose to actually go home with whoever was trailering them. Well, H (we'll call her owner this) couldn't take both horses she had on her trailer, because there was no way she was going to be able to afford the boarding. So one of the other haulers took the other horse H had on her trailer and she kept ST.
None of these horses had been handled, let alone trained. At the property when she went to pick up ST there were 17 horses dead in the field, and over a dozen still hanging on. H was the last one to get her horse into the trailer. Everyone else were beating their horses on, and H was trying to convince ST on with Sweet Tarts (why she's named Sweet Thing). Being the last one to load, others decided they wanted to help. By helping, they decided they were going to try walking her on themselves by moving each foot. While H told them it was a bad idea, no one listened. The girl that was at ST's right hind got a kick to the knee and went right down onto her ass, and all H could do was try not to laugh and tell them, "I told ya so".

Well, there's all the background..lol. So, here's the pictures I know everyone's been waiting for.
They're not the best pictures, and they're from the first time I rode her..but they'll do for now, eh?
<img src="
